Great Course
If not for all the ball marks and old hole indentations, the greens on this course would be awesome. The course is great.
Great Course!
Sister Course to Tannenbaum - we played both and enjoyed both! Mountain Ranch greens have so many unrepaired ball marks on the greens players should be embarrassed (including locals). We were behind the local men’s group (8 4&5-somes) causing very slow play. Old cup holes were also a cause of disrepair on the greens. These greens could be awesome otherwise. The only bathroom on the course is filthy. However, we did enjoy our round at Mountain Ranch GC.
Great Course near the lake
Tannenbaum is a Gem! Great Staff, Great layout and the greens are in great shape! It’s in early dormancy now but the greens have recently been planted w/rye and are rolling great. Go Play!!
Great ARkansas Course
We play this golf course every time we’re in the area. The course is entering dormancy but is in great shape, especially the greens. You cannot go wrong here!!
Leaves everywhere
Probably need to have the Marshall blowing leaves off some of the greens instead of looking for lost golf balls... The grill closed early (30 minutes) even after stopping by after finishing the front 9 to insure we would be able to get something to eat after we finished the back nine - VERY disappointing! We have enjoyed the course and the grill many times over the past 12 months!
Adventurous greens!
We visited this course twice, 10/22 and 10/27. The course is beautiful and well-maintained. Loved the fall colors.
The greens are rolling/wavy, with very little flat surface, making birdies hard to come by, even playing a scramble, as our foursome did.
We'll be back.
Slow bumpy greens
We chose this course because it was listed as the #1 public course for Arkansas. We extended a trip to stay a few extra days in order to play. The course is very scenic but not in very good shape. Bent grass greens but the slowest I have ever played in 50 years of golfing. Definitely overpriced for the condition. Layout and flow was really odd with backtracking from green to tee.
Loved It
Loved this course. Some of the greens had just been aerated and were a bit sandy but other than that the course was in good condition. A lot of left to right shaped holes which is good for my fade. I'll be going back.
