Beautiful course
Really nice course with a challenging layout. It has gotten a bit dry but they are staying up with it. Greens had been punched recently but other that that course was in good shape.
Better kept than Tannenbaum, but still no better than average course conditions and maintenance
Quiet mountain location makes this course a fun destination. I chose a slow day (threat of rain) and so I had the course almost to myself. A very pleasant afternoon and the rain didn’t ever show up. The course condition is mostly good. Multiple traps need rock removal from the sand, and the grass was thin in areas. But the scenery on most holes was great making it more than worth the trip to play here.
Terrific course and value!
The course was in good condition and showing off fall colors well! The pace of play was great, not crowded at all, and the greens were in great shape. There is a good variety of tees and holes to challenge every golfer, and the staff was super friendly! Highly recommend!!
Back to its former glory!
This course is in almost perfect condition. The greens are flawless. They rolled them yesterday so they were extremely fast but rolled true. If you haven’t been here in awhile your missing the best bargain in the state.
The restaurant is open again with reasonable prices and nice food - at this time awaiting go ahead for ability to serve alcohol
Overall Nice Course
We had a good time at Mountain Ranch. The greens
We’re in good shape. The bunkers were pretty tuff though
Great views and at points we felt we had the course all to ourselves.
Fun course
Course layout was fun but tricky. Several fairways tilt which made it hard for tee shot to stay in the fairway. Fairways weren’t cut short. It was like hitting from the fringe all day, consequently losing distance. Greens were inconsistent. But they looked as though were recently verticut.
Small range/irons only. Although this experience was riddled with exceptions, I would definitely play again and recommend it to anyone.
Awesome course… especially considering the heat we have had the last few weeks
One of the best courses in Arkansas
Premium course for reasonable price. If you weigh in the cost to course and compare to other courses with their prices, this potentially the best course in Arkansas depending on conditions. Which are usually excellent.
Still an awesome track
Tee boxes, fairways and greens were freshly cut and beautiful. This scenic course has generous landing areas from the tees and large bermuda greens that are in great shape with no dead spots. Some of the bunkers are not raked and have drainage issues so it’s fair to lift clean and place in those. They are obviously working hard on bunkers. There was no beverage person or water on the course so come prepared. They’re fine with tumblers. Mountain Ranch is an excellent golf course and a screaming bargain.
Hidden gem
I live in Springfield, Mo and my cousin lives in Cabot, Ar. We were looking for someplace to meet in the middle(sort of) and found this place. Absolutely beautiful course and a challenge for a bogie golfer like me. I didn’t even care that I didn’t shoot well because the course was so pretty. Definitely worth the drive and at a great price point we will be meeting back there multiple times in the future.
