Ojai Valley Inn golf course is always a great experience.
My son and I always enjoy playing the Ojai Valley Inn golf course. The pace of play is good and the course is always in great shape. The greens were relatively fast and they rolled true. The course includes a number of interesting and unique holes with several changes in elevation. Check-in was easy though Parking is always a challenge. Overall a great experience.
Nearly perfect
I've been fortunate enough to play golf all over the country I live locally and this is always in my top 10 favorite courses to play. I brought my friend friends here Friday and although the weather turned on us the course was immaculate. Friendly staff. Highly recommended best greens in California
Mixed experience
Very confusing layout for the first time visitor. We parked where the signs indicated for “Golf and Spa”, a long way from the golf shop, then waited for a shuttle which didn’t come until we called for it. We lost 15 minutes of prep time for that. At the first tee we were told by members that they “Always” have the time we reserved and we’d have to wait. Ultimately, they “let” us go at our time since they were waiting for their 5th player. We played through a foursome on #11 and finished in about 3.5hrs.
Course conditions were good with great greens. Routing was a challenge for the first time player with several blind shots. They do have GPS and a “tips” sheet which helped some. The views and vistas are gorgeous and worth the visit at least once.

Great course, well kept
Pleasantly surprised by this course. Greens were fast on the front and then got slower on the back. Some tough pin placements. Overall great staff and great conditions. Views were top notch as well.
Great course
Simply not worth it
3x playing here. I’ve learned my lesson. 6 hour rounds at $150/player for a remote resort course. Not worth the drive from SB or LA. And forget about the course. That first hole is a red flag of what’s to come. Other great golf courses that won’t consume your entire day.
MUST PLAY
Been wanting to play Ojai for awhile now and today was it🙌🏼… Drove 2 hours and I will drive them again soon🏌️♂️👌🏼.. I don’t have nothing bad to say about the Ojai all the staff greets you with a smile and are willing to help you out with any questions you got and the course has to be one if not the best course I have played in California….HOPE TO GO BACK SOON 🙌🏼
Amateur golfers..octogenarians
Our first time there. Very busy….first hole was confusing ,and we drove cart in restricted area… but then we got the hang of it.
A beautiful course, lovely staff and worth the money..
Lunch at Jimmy’s
We took advantage of "internet special"
Great course.
Always a treat to play this course. Teed off at 7:40. Didn’t finish until 12:45. They need better pace of play.
Heaven on Earth
Not many courses in CA compare to Ojai Valley Inn. Setting, conditions, staff, food, weather was perfect!!!
Beautiful Course with Sparce Eating choices
This has to be the best course and most beautiful setting from LA to Paso Robles! Even Ty Warner's Sandpiper does not hold a candle to this. Sad. Anyway, I cannot say enough about the condition and layout of the course. I want to also give a BIG 5 star rating to the staff as they are exceptional in customer service. My only "gripe" is there is no direction to where one can get some quick bites or food after a round of this great course. I know this is a posh place with suits and ties but what about those who have spent good money to play and want to taste some "great" food as well. I would recommend you bring your own food/drink until that changes.
