Beautiful Course
The course is located in one of the most beautiful valleys in all of California. The course is exceptional from tee to green. Terrific views from the tee boxes, fairways well manicured and tightly knit, and green were both receptive yet smooth and fast. I’ve played some of the best courses in America, from Winged Foot to Riviera, and this is one of the best courses for the price. As long as the wind doesn’t blow too hard, you’ll love your round at Quail Lodge!
Beautiful conditions, nice layout. I’ll play it again soon
Beautiful course in excellent shape
The fairways and greens were some of the best I've played on. The course was extremely soft feeling beneath my feet in both the fairways and greens. The course played very fair and challenging. The wind was tough which made the back tees play much tougher than the yardage. The fairways next to the green were perfect to chip from.. overall a great experience and would be happy to play again. The older starter was not very welcoming or helpful which was disappointing being this was my first time at the course. The other employees were friendly and accommodating.
Pricey but worth it!
Never expected to get to play it! Wonderful experience !!
Great
Great course good layout nice greens all around 5 satr
Great experience!
We love Quail ! The course conditions are always good, the layout is beautiful and the greens are the best on the
Peninsula . We look forward to the time when the Pro Shop opens and we can purchase some of their wonderful inventory. But wait we will.
Great day!
First time playing after the restrictions were lifted and I was looking for an opportunity to play a nice course. I got a hot deal on a late morning tee time and couldn’t wait to play. The grass range was nice because I got the opportunity to work some of the rust off my game before teeing off. The weather was great and the course is in excellent shape. Greens were excellent. I was lucky enough to play by myself, took my time and played behind a foursome for most of the front nine and then had the play to myself on the back nine. I wish golf was like this every time I played.
Great to Play Again!
Got a good deal for a Sunday at 2:30 on Golfnow. First time back here since Covid 19 SIP. When we arrived, masks were required to check in, and we had to pay by calling our credit card info into the shop; practice warmup was included as usual; everyone got their own cart (nice); food & drinks were available to go. No ball cleaners. No scorecards, but you can use the cart touchscreen. Course looked good and well maintained. Very fast greens. No rakes, but sand was good. It was a beautiful spring day in Carmel Valley. Pace was good, we finished in under 3.5 hours. Can’t wait to come back again!
beautiful course
Excellent in all ways...staff assisted w clubs...office staff friendly...course in top condition. recommend reopen snack cafe at the turn.....
Wonderful surprise of a course
Excellent condition, greens were fast & about the best I have played on in years. Challenging course but 2 trees in middle of the fairway on 2 holes were one too many.
