Perfect way to start your morning!

Been playing here for about 2 months and I have to say it’s my favortie spot in SD. All 3 courses are in great shape and the staff and members are friendly.

I lost my rangefinder playing there on Sunday and I was pleasantly surprised when the pro shop ate it there for me.

All in excellent condition

Oak Glen in excellent condition. My only gripe is the long walk from the nether region of the parking lot to the pro-shop.

A lot of fun!

Grabbed a last minute spot for the Willow Glen course and had an awesome time! Very fun layout, greens were great, walkable course too. My only gripes were the par 3 distances. Three of the four par 3’s were all the same distances, around 182y. The other was 174y so really almost all the same. More variety would be welcomed. All in all, I can’t wait to go back. Fun course!

Becoming unplayable

This course has been slowly getting worse over the last few months. Everyone is teeing off super late & the rounds get slower and slower. My last round is was stuck behind an 8 sum playing together. Not sure how the course allows this. My previous round we got stuck behind a tournament and ended up playing a 6 hour round behind a bunch of drunk golfers. This course has lost all control and wouldn't recommend it for how expensive it is.

Long Walk

Course is wonderful. Practice areas are great. My only issue is the long walk from the parking lot to the pro shop.

Best course value in east county

East San Diego County has really let a lot of their courses go to the wayside. Except for steel Canyon and singing hills is not worth the drive. Seeing hills with the value of how they keep up their course is definitely. Super nice staff very walkable, challenging. I am a mid high handicap and a challenge, but overwhelmed, of course. But I have played with some really good players who find a great value. Highly recommend

Practice Facility

The formerly amazing practice facility took a big hit this fall when the designers of the new singing hills driving range decided to hang the net too low. Many golfers have been hitting their shots into the roof of the net. Might as well just left the net right in front of you as they did during renovation. Its very disappointing that their designers and or engineers couldn’t figure this out. 41 years of patronage and now I’m out. They only thing the range is good for now is chipping and pitching and practice and they already have a huge area for that.

Oak Glen

Our first time at Singing Hills. All staff were friendly, especially Ruby in the pro shop and Andy the starter, who took time to explain the course. Driving range is covered with a high net, which I’d never seen, but was high enough that no shots were affected. Course was basically nice, especially the greens. Our big complaint was the rough: while it didn’t look exceptionally long, it was very hard to find balls there. We probably lost 6 balls that should have been easily found. The late afternoon light didn’t help much. Things got backed up around hole 15, with four groups waiting on 18 to tee off. Value was good.

Awesome conditions! Much improved.

Awesome conditions! Much improved since the renovation/ water/ irrigation improvements. I've mostly played Willow Glen on Hot Deals over the last year a few times while they were renovating Oak Glen and I finally caught a good deal using rewards points. The conditions were very lush and pretty uniform across the whole course. I'm not sure what all renovations they did but all the ponds will full of water w new concrete. Tee boxes were level and some of the hole layouts looked slightly different, maybe removed trees too. Greens were great. Not sure about the drastic difference in length though Blue is 6,800 compared to White 6,100. Highly recommend if you find a deal.

It was fun just wish it was longer

The course was in good shape just wish it was longer par 4 and maybe 18 holes instead of just 9 if they could find the room

Fall Maintenance

The pace of play was slower than usual, but Pine Glen & Willow Glen were undergoing maintenance, so it seems groups who would have played an executive course were on Oak Glen - nearly 5 hr. round. Greens were true and fast, not being punched quite yet. However, we weren't informed the fairways were punched and not mowed yet so those "clumps" slow the ball down for me as I hit the ball extremely low and am on the fairways / ground quickly, losing 30-40 yards in distance.

Disappointed

We hadn't played here in probably 20 years but came down to stay at the casino and play a few rounds of golf. Played the Par 3 the first day and it is best suited for very young golfers...very short. We played 6 holes in less than 20 minutes until we caught up with a group and then had to wait to finish the other 3 holes. Even at $35 riding a cart, it is too expensive for what it is. Next day, we played Oak Glen on a Hot Deal tee time. Got paired up with 2 guys who absolutely could not find the fairways. Nice enough guys, but it made the round seem very long as they looked for their balls in adjacent fairways. Course layout is ok and condition was so-so. Facilities are lacking. No bag attendants...bag drop some distance from the pro shop/cart pick up. Driving range hitting into nets as they improve the range. If you expect to play a resort course and/or have resort amenities, you will be disappointed. Recommend you bring your own water. $11 for 2 bottles of water. Overall, spent $36 on non-alcoholic beverages for the round...4 waters and 2 sodas. Highway robbery.

Rude

They don’t incentivize residence of San Diego County to come out there and play when they charge the same rate for a nonresident as a resident. There’s plenty of other courses in San Diego county they gave you the benefit of being a resident and give you the discount for living here the guy in the pro shop named Caleb was super rude on the phone and I would not play or go play somewhere else.

Willow

As someone who is older and who's distance has gotten shorter and shorter it would be really nice to have a fourth tee-box shorter than the whites but longer than the ladies teas
