As par-3s go, it doesn't get much better than this linksy layout. Ocean views accompany you throughout the round. Unfortunately, so does the ocean breezes that make shot-making and club selection difficult. The greens and their surrounds are well designed to challenge better players but allow beginners an avenue of escape. Golfers always finish in under two hours, leaving enough time to enjoy the rest of the resort's five-star offerings. PGA pros have a cool short-game practice area and three indoor simulators to help you with your game.

WE HAD A BALL, THE LADIES LIKE THE COURSE BECAUSE OF THE GREAT VIEWS. MY WIFE HAD ONE OF HER BEST ROUNDS, SHE SHOT A 38 ON A PAR 27. WAY TO SCORE!!!!!

The peaceful atmosphere at this resort recreational golf course has a breath taking view and the fresh ocean breeze where you can forget everything else for an hour & half of your day.

Terranea was a nice departure from other 9 hole courses. The ocean vista was a definite plus. The bunker laden course provided challenging play. Excellent signage.

Great location, scenic views. Course maintained very well but greens were aerated recently. 16 mph wind increased the difficulty. The 30 min. tee spacing allowed our threesome to play at a relaxed pace without anyone ahead or behind us.

Played with my sister, first time for both of us! Experience was great; course very challenging, and scenery was just awesome! Would definitely play again and recommend to friends!

Great 9 hole with amazing views. Customer service was ridiculously good and the course was in perfect condition (rained for 2 days the week before). Def worth the money and a must do!!!!

Fun course with great views. Lots of tee options make it playable for all. Non-golfers can walk along for $10

Great for your short game. The resort is great to spend time after golfing--enjoying the scene at Nelson's.

My group played Terranea for the first time. It was the most challenging Par 3 course that I have played. If you don't have time to play a 18 hole golf course. This is an idea place to play.
Layout was great. All the holes are challenging. We had a great time at this little nice get away. Beautiful scenery throughout the course. We played all 9 holes in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I will be back to play again.

An hour and a half of golf perfection, could not be better for a father and 9 yr old son. Oceanfront golf, perfectly manicured course, not a blade of grass out of place. Then a great cup of coffee and cranberry muffin while reading for a couple more hours.

This course is awesome if you just want to get in some quick iron work. It's beautiful and the greens are well kept. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. I got the golfnow.com rate of $20 which is super worth it. Not sure I'd pay the $48 regular rate for only 9 holes.

We started at 7:40 am and were done at 9:30 am. Not a bad way to start my Saturday.

Great challenging course that changes with the wind direction. Staff remembers your name and makes you feel like a member at a CC.

This course is in a great ocean setting but for an average golfer (bogey) I found it frustrating. There are lots of traps and fast greens that invite the ball to roll off, so bring lots of patience. With lots of discounts online it may be worth it for the view. There was no waiting on a weekday playing as a twosome.

I understand Terranea is the #2 "par 3" only rated course in the country. It lives up to it's reputation by far. Each hole has a new challenge and gives the true authentic pro course feel. I have played Poppy Hills and Terranea is the second best course I have ever played only to Poppy. Perfect condition and great costal views with the added wind factor. The experience has a feeling of Monterey/ spanish bay specifically and I love it. I couldn't help but take pictures and enjoy myself. I only hit one par and hit 3 greens but I had a blast. Please try this course if you like golf.

Immaculate little nine hole par three but, would not pay full price of 48.00 to play.

This course is not like your usual par-3 course, which have many holes under 100 yds. The holes are standard par 3s that you would find at any 18-hole course. The layout presents a challenge with many traps right in front of the green, so you have to either go for the pin or bail out left or right.

The scenery is spectacular with Palos Verdes peninsula behind you and Catalina island 26 miles away.

The whole experience at Terranea was incredible. The staff at the entire resort are very willing to help with anything you need and they are very knowledgable about the resort and it's features. We paid $5 to rent push carts for our clubs. The course is in perfect condition, and the views are breathtaking. I would absolutely play this course over and over again and recommend it to others

Went golfing with my brother and had a great time. Although they are all par 3s it was still a great view and a great price.
