Marriott's Grande Vista

I love this course. It is a finely kept course and service that you would expect at a Marriott.

We were running a few minutes behind to start the day. Upon arrival, the staff was very kind, courteous, and even provided a bit of laughter. Great first impression. The guy giving out the carts (Scottish gentleman) was extremely helpful and accommodating. We let various twosomes play through but although the holes were rather claustrophobic, we greatly enjoyed the size of the entire course. We will absolutely be coming back, hopefully on time!

Out of nine holes they were 4 par 3’s, a par 4 that was converted to a par 3, one other par 4 and three par 5’s.

The facilities and practice area are immense and worth spending the day at. The grass and scenery is gorgeous and very well-kept. Despite the lack of par 5s it’s a fun and challenging layout. My only complaint is the lack of yardage signs throughout the course. Besides the 100 yard stick, I was guessing yardages most of the day, even on par 3s. Definitely want to come back though.

I believe the course was design as a teaching course. It requires a lot of different shots during the round. Well maintained. Excellent greens. Nice tees. One of the best nine hole courses I’ve played!

This course is for a quick practice round. Short and sweet! Great location.

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott Grand Vista. I brought my golf clubs and booked a round. It was not disappointing. The course is well groomed from tee box to green. It can be challenging with water everywhere, mid bunkers, nature areas, along with water guarding greens. The distance is easily manageable with 3 tees to choose from. It winds around the resort, but not near any building, which often is the case with golf courses in communities. My only gripe is the number of families out playing with their youngsters, which slowed play on occasion. On the other hand, it was nice to see families out playing together ; kids have to start somewhere.

Grand Vista is a 9 hole short course. It will do in a pinch if you cannot get on anywhere else. the course is always in good shape and generally pace of play is not an issue. It is only 9 holes so 18 would be playing it twice, It is not bad if other courses are not available. It does have an excellent locker room area if that is desired.

Open but at times challenging. I'll be back every time I'm in Orlando.

Scenery was beautiful. Course was in great condition considering the storms from the previous two days.

Nice course not overly difficult, a lot of par threes. Fun to play 18,changed tee boxes on second nine for some variety. Course was very wet, cart path only . Had fun played nine holes with a very friendly member and played the second nine alone. I would recommend this course to everyone, stress free golf.
