Marriott's Grande Vista

We played 9 hole this morning. Beautiful course. Plenty space at the range and putting green. Will definitely be back again.

Despite being 9 holes and no par 5s, it’s a very fun course to play. If you want the 18hole feel, play from the tips on the “back 9” and the tee shots change fairly significantly.

The Par 5 5th is less than 300 yds from the White Tee which is the next farthest to the hole. A good eagle hole.

Water everywhere makes the course challenging,

I would have preferred an 18 hole layout. That said, the 9 holes were in good shape. A few too many Par 3s. They were challenging though with water hazards on several holes.

Overall, this isn't a bad course. You do have to play the same nine twice for 18 holes. But it's a decent course. Play the back tees to make distance a little more challenging. Lots of Par 3s here. There's an optional 4 on one of them from the back tees. Some challenging holes with water hazards.

Grande Vista never disappoints! Course is always well maintained. The staff is always ready to help and friendly. Amazing course for the money.

All Marriot courses seem to have a certain look and feel. Grande Vista fits the same mold.

Cons - it's only 9 holes.

Pros - everything else

5* facilities having multiple ranges, practice greens, and chipping areas. 2 of the ranges are covered and well shaded.

Great Bar and Grille - when golf returns to being a social sport, it's an excellent place to eat, relax, and socialize. (Not sure if it's open)

Course remains in pristine condition. I think they'd shut the entire course down before they presented you with a scarred, patchy green. Not the most challenging course but enjoyable. I love walking the course.

This is an excellent course and fantastic shape !! A Great practice facility..very well kept

We always enjoy our time at Grande Vista. The condos are mostly empty so there are a lot fewer golfers; however, they maintain the course very well.

The small staff is very friendly and accommodating.
