Great course - very very slow play
Had a great time but never play good golf when playing a 4 1/2 hr 18 holes. Waited for every shot but putts. Super nice weather and only saw beer cart 2 times. A great course and a 5 star rating if pace of play was managed better.
Thank you for reviewing the course 5 stars! Let us first start by apologizing for the delay of play during your round. We will escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements before your next round. Thank you for playing Omni Amelia Island Resort - Oak Marsh. We hope to see you again soon.
Great Track
Everything was good from the bag drop to #18. Dennis was very helpful off the first tee and great advice playing 16 from the golds. Great experience all around, staff very friendly.
ChipBlalock, thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Omni Amelia Island Resort - Oak Marsh.
Pete Dye at his finest
This has to be one of the areas best kept secrets. I’ve played the stadium course numerous times but I’d take this course over it every time. Beautiful scenery, fairways, bunkers and greens were perfect. The greens rolled true and were fast but not too fast. Easy to check a ball. Everyone was nice and helpful, I just couldn’t have had a better experience. Did I mention it is tough? Risk reward holes are plenty., meandering through maritime forest and marsh. I can’t wait to get back to this course!
Your feedback is important to us, curtzimmermann. Thank you for sharing your 5-star experience. We look forward to seeing you again at the course soon! Thanks for choosing Omni Amelia Island Resort - Oak Marsh.
A challenging course meandering through exquisite nature
A challenging, thought provoking course. Many target holes, false fronts and marsh carries. We had a somewhat windy day which required constant assessment of distant and angle approaches. Keep the ball in play and scoring is fair and rewarding.

Beautiful course. Course was in great shape.
Only issue was we wanted a beer at the turn and couldn’t get one. Because the bar closed. At 2:00. The staff was so helpful and friendly
Hope to play again.

Classic Amelia golf
This is a beautiful island course. The fairways were still kind of soggy and muddy in several spots (cart path only today). Play was a bit slow. No on course beverage service or dining service because of COVID which is an unnecessary disappointment in my opinion. I am sure I will be back (and message to management: if you are thinking of ever opening the Ocean course back up - please do it!)
Thank you for taking the time to review us paigemoore. Your feedback is valuable, and we look forward to delivering you excellent service again soon. Omni Amelia Island Resort - Oak Marsh thanks you!
Beautiful scenery everywhere you look
Course a little wet in places but did not hinder play or the quality of the course. Greens are unblemished and true . Slower than usual due to recent rains. My favorite course in the Jacksonville area.

Amazing Course
First time here and loved it! Played the tips and as I remembered from my last Pete Dye experience he builds a tough course! Small elevated greens and a lot of trouble each hole. Course was in great condition staff was great. Continued shutdown of food and no beverage cart was disappointing. Good old COVID. Bluetooth in brand new carts was awesome and starter Dennis was great!!!
