Speacial!!
This is a wonderful course that should be played if you love golf and beautiful views. My only issue was the size of the driving range but I've played wonderful old courses who have no range at all.
The secret that must be done (even if it costs you a lost ball) is to make sure to play the 16th from the Gold teeing area. You'll be treated to one of the best views on the entire island.
Don't miss playing this course!
Lives up to its name!
Course was in great shape! Great layout around the marsh filled with oaks. It was very scenic. Not a long course but it was challenging. Value was awesome and well worth the 50 minute drive for me vs playing my local muni. Playing again this weekend!!
Great round
My personal opinion is the number of other reviews here that say "tight fairways" are a bit over-exaggerated; certainly not off the tee box unless you are a very long hitter. If they were tight anywhere it was just short of the green where being anywhere off center had you in the sand. Course is in great condition, and for some reason is much less popular than the Ocean Links, which allowed me to reserve a 730 tee time the night before and play a 2.5 hour round and rejoin the family by 1030. Free bag of range balls and friendly staff. Pro shop with wide selection of apparel, balls, shoes, and other accessories.
The course was in great shape. The scenery and onsite homes were amazing. We'll be back!
Great course
Beautiful layout. Scenic holes. In great condition
Oak Marsh
Just a fantastic golf course, and in great shape. Just a great place to play.
Amazing course!
Ourse was in fantastic shape with even the 2nd cut of rough manicured nicely. Greens were fast and true but still held well even from 6 iron range 190yds or so. Staff was helpful and very courteous. Carts have huge touch screens with gos to track your round, shot distance, score and distance from pin. It even cheers for you if you get a birdie or eagle. Definitely play this course if you have the chance.
Challenging for me
Narrow course; undulating/sloping greens makes it challenging. Beautiful course; though not many great views. Was surprised that there wasn't more staff helping take bags out of car; cleaning clubs etc. Driving range very small.
Will play again.
Excellent golf course! Great character and challenges.
Well maintained and interesting. Variety of decisions required. Greens were consistent in pace and offered a variety of positions. Good reads and solid puts paid rewards. Will certainly return. Friendly atmosphere and personnel.
Course is in great shape!! They are making great improvements to the greens and fairways. Marshalls need to do a better job of speeding up play. One 4 some had 5 groups backed up but other than that a nice layout.
Amelia oak
Great course layout. Narrow fairways and small greens. It would be a " tough" course for weekend golfer. Value through GolfNow was excellent.
Great views and great condition.
I plan to play here more often now. I had forgotten how wonderful this course is.
Great layout
We enjoyed the round. Course is in as good a shape as possible considering we haven't had rain in this area for over 3 weeks.
The marsh views are incredible. We'll play this course again - and again, and again....
Course is in great shape. Greens are plush and roll at great pace. Definitely will go back. Staff very professional and helpful.
It's tricky if you are a long hitter
Be careful with that driver! Lots of marsh and doglegs make for a fairly challenging course. Be sure to pay attention to the screen in the golf carts.
Very Nice Course Better than the Ocean Links
The Marsh is very nice I played both courses while I was there and the Marsh was in way better condition and has some beautiful holes with all the tree's. If I went back I would definitely play it again.
