Orlando World Center Marriott

I played this course sometime ago and it was good to really good. Right now the condition of the course is terrible. Tee boxes are all chewed up, fairways at times are unplayable with lots and lots of ryegrass everywhere. For the amount of money you pay you might as well go somewhere else.

Course is in fantastic shape. Greens are fast and true. Great customer service.

Unfortunately picked a poor time to visit due to recent rains in the area. Course had six holes plus par threes on cart path only and as s handicap golfer over 80, I cannot do CPO so had to skip those holes. I have played it before though and normally it is a great golf course

Overall course was well maintained and in very good shape. Greens slower than the looked. 18th hole is a gimmick. Should not have a 200+ yd par 3 as a finishing hole. Also for a 6200 yrs course (black tees) there should not be two 200+ yd par 3’s. Pace of play was slow as they had a group of 4 and a group of 3 get together on the 8th to play as a 7-some.

The course was in poor shape. Tee boxes, fairways, all in bad shape for $140. This was horribly over priced for the shape of the course. Also when I showed up I could not buy water or anything because the “snack bar” was closed for lunch. People were nice, but a very big let down.

Good value you for money and the pace of play was 3hours40 min greens were great true and fast would definitely play again

Course was in pretty good shape with nice greens except one but some of the tee boxes need attention!

Played here for the first time the green were fast and true got paired with a Australian father and son the course that staff were excellent would play this course again without hesitation

terrible drainage burnout and shabby fairways, looks like they spend very little on maintenance

i have played over the years here and in my opinion it’s gone downhill and not worth the greens fees

I played this course about two years ago and it was amazing, we went to play it again this past weekend thinking we would once again a pleasant experience and boy was I wrong.

Tee boxes were atrocious, greens had weeds and dirt patches, they over booked and the pace of play was horrid, there was not a single hole in which we did not end up waiting to tee off. No marshals in site until around hole 11 to try and speed players up. If this was a $50 course I would not be leaving this review, but to pay what we did for the condition of this course should be a crime. Stay away until the reviews start going up. Zero of 5 stars for me

The price doesn’t translate with these conditions - at least as it plays currently in summer 2026.

Patchy fairways, barren spots, and many lost / temporary tee boxes.

Some cool hole designs on back 9 with watery hazards and target landing areas.

Greens were slow, but smooth and good shape. The course was otherwise very patchy from tee to green. It looked like they were replanting sod in some areas but expect they will be GUR for a few weeks.

I do not recommend until they recover the course or lower their rates.

Normally one of the better courses in Orlando, Hawks Landing is in rough shape right now. Greens are great, but everything else is suffering. While some leeway can be made for the current drought, the conditions were much beyond just a lack of rain. Tee boxes are in terrible condition. Every fairway has several areas that are barren or threadbare - definitely not up to a typical Marriott level conditions.

Prices for the beverage cart are extortionate - $15 for a mixed drink or a single serve liquor bottle plus automatic 18% service charge - expect to spend $70 per round of drinks.

Range is irons only, no woods or driver.

The course was in good condition. Good pace of play. Will definitely be back to play.

I enjoyed playing your course, but I must say, i was somewhat disappointed in the course conditions. Fairways were only in okay condition. Lots of areas of patchy grass. The greens were better than the average course but not as nice as I was expecting. I was led to believe by multiple people that course was a must play in the Orlando area. In my opinion it is not a must play destination.

I wasn't able able to finish the round , was raining no stop and because was booked thru golfnow I never get a raincheck..

All the staff at Hawk's Landing was great. The layout is pretty good. The greens just like many in the area in June have recently been aerated, which is understandable. However tee boxes and a lot of areas in fairways were in horrible condition. I would stay away until you get verified information that the tee boxes have been rebuilt or at least re sodded.
