Course in fantastic shape , we had great time playing there

Great course, good mixture of long and short holes. Perfect day!

Greeted by a friendly pro shop attendant and then the starter, but it basically never really took off from there. Had to warm up in mats. Teed off at 9:30. A group of 3 Foursomes held up the entire course. At one point I counted 5 groups on 2 holes. Literally waited on every shot. Never saw a marshall. No water stations whatsoever.

Course hadn’t been mowed in 2-3 days so fairways were high. Greens were true but very slow. Layout a little weird including a 5-minute meandering path to the 18th signature hole. Unless it’s one of your last choices, I would look elsewhere.

Took a little over 4 hours to play 12 holes which is just unbearable - ended up just calling the day - not a fan of this type of design. It’s either ya really like it or ya don’t. I’m in the don’t like faction. Also don’t like spending this kind of money and quitting halfway through due to slow play…along with a course design that’s just not for me.

The course is roomier than it looks. I steered it around and didn’t need to. The entire place is obviously well maintained. The greens were consistent, medium speed, smooth, with minimum undulations.

Course in great shape!! Greens are fast and roll realy good.

For a resort course it was in great shape and the staff were extremely helpful. Very nice layout and was fun to play especially the 18th hole which is an island green. Cart have GPS

Course was in amazing shape! Carts had everything you need. Gps, towels, ice and free waters. Pro shop has everything you need and staff are very friendly. Transfusions at the turn we’re great!

Short course 6200 from tips. Resort course lots of SLOW players. Fairways just cut needs couple weeks get back in shape

we played here for the first time and completely enjoyed it. Staff were super friendly, clubhouse stocked well and great deal on shirts. course has practice area conveniently located to get ready to tee off. course, greens and fairways in great shape.

Hawk's Landing is in very nice condition. They had punched the fairways/tees about a week or so ago (there is an aerification alert on GolfNow), but it was completely healed, and everything was lush and green. Greens are beautiful but slower than many courses of the same caliber in this area. Bunkers are all well maintained (and plentiful). The snack bar closed well before I made the turn at 5pm, so don't expect to get any food/drink in the afternoon, although they give you two small bottles of water on ice per cart - nice touch. My biggest complaint about HL is that they don't have enough tee options. There's a nearly 500 yard difference between the back tees and the next ones up and almost 400 yards between the next two. With the proliferation of combo tees, this course definitely could use them, especially given that there are several short holes, which means there are a few that are incredibly long from the back tees.

I like this course but I think turning the 18th into an island green was a mistake.

I like island greens but I don’t think it should be the last hole of the day.
