Best Greens in Town
They have the best greens in town. They weren’t as fast as they have been, but they rolled smoothly. We’ll be back.
Great Golf
Had not played the course since 2019. The course was in great shape and very enjoyable round.
Great shape
For the weather we have been have the course was in great condition. If you have not played it get it on your list.
Great To Be Outdoors
This course is about a 50 minute drive from downtown Orlando, but always worth it.
The course is in nice shape and the greens are perfect. Pass of play was just under 4 hours and we had a group behind us that had 2 walkers with push carts and they were right behind.
TGO IS GREAT
EVERYTHING WAS TOP NOTCH. GREENS FLAWLESS. PACE VERY GOOD. LAYOUT NOT BORING. EVERYONE VERY FRIENDLY. VERY INTERESTING HOUSING AROUND THE COURSE.
First time playing ...
Found the course a nice option and worth the drive from Daytona Beach.
Greens (newly re-done) were very good, smooth and firm although not as fast as they looked. Fairways and tees were in great shape - bunkers were light on sand and would have benefitted from more depth especially those around the greens.
Pace of play was on the slower side but to be expected on a nice Sunday afternoon. Saw the Marshall twice during the round. Staff from the clubhouse to the cart return were very friendly, welcoming and eager to help a newbie like myself. The course winds its way through homes and RV's with fair amount of water and challenging shots on most holes. Hope to return, soon.
Great Outdoors is so again
One of my favorite courses and did not disappoint
Awesome conditions….but
This course is by far the most manicured course in Brevard County. The grains are totally awesome and roll true. The tea boxes are green and thick. The fairways are pristine and the rough is just rough enough. This is an out and back course so you do not get to go to the clubhouse at hole nine.
The bad is the fact that it is an out and back course. They stated there was a cart person on the course but we never saw them. At whole 10, there is a spot for a beverage cart person to be there, and they were not there when we made our “turn”. So frustrating. We played after a tournament and either no one hit the greens or everybody fix their divots, which is just awesome. Again the course conditions are fantastic. But beverage service has been an issue for a long time here. Bring your own coolers and stock them well because you won’t get back to the club house for 18 holes.
I personally like to play golf for the fun of it and to have some drinks and relax. The fact that there was no drinks out there made this “not a five star “course. This can be fixed very easily, though by the course. When the snowbirds leave, this will be on my course rotation for sure.
Outstanding Conditions
This was my first time playing the great outdoors and it honestly shocked me how pristine the course was. Typically when I have a bad round it’s hard to separate my frustration with my game from the golf course itself, but the great outdoors was so nice and well kept that I couldn’t help but have a great time admiring the course and the layout. 10/10 would play again in a heartbeat!
Thursday is members day.
we played on Thursday behind a member tourney. it was okay pace was a little slow 4.5 hrs
Still in great shape!
Always enjoy playing there. Greens were running smooth, but not as fast as previously ( which was a relief on downhill putts). We’ll be back.
