Slightly Disappointing Playing Surface
I'm willing to give them some slack because of possible understaffing or overwhelming use due to Covid, but there's a few tee boxes and putting greens that are looking pretty rough, if not bereft of grass. Was hoping for more pristine surfaces for the amount of money paid for the course, especially when I chose this course for my birthday round.
20 dollar parking fee!!!!
I enjoyed the course. Range is open. Greens rolled true. There is a 20$ parking fee. There is no getting around it working unless you have an annual pass for Stone Mountain.
Good Course
Would like you to come back. Nice scenery arounds few holes with Stone Mountain in the backdrop. Pace of play today was decent.. But the parking fee of $20 is turnoff.
Nice course
Pretty nice course layout. Pace of play is the concern. I don't know why the starter lets the group start when the group ahead just finishes their second shot. If they hold the group until the group ahead is on the green or just of the Green, it will have decent pace and everyone will enjoy the game.
GREAT COURSE, BETTER VIEWS
PERFECT COURSE. NICE LAYOUT AND GREAT VIEWS. GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY.
Great layout.
Good course. Target golf... its tight. The only downside is the $20 per car to get in on top of the greenfee. Other than that ... nice. Greens aren’t in best shape but they roll true and are hard to stop on. Def challenge
Great view and great layout.
Well maintained course. Food cart available. Perfect for beginners and advanced players.
Great staff.
Great Layout, Greens getting worse
I played for the first time last Saturday and again six days later. The course is really nice but the greens are letting them down. I noticed a significant drop in standard in just six days when they weren't great to start with. Too many old plug holes and very bumpy.
Great course
Despite over 3 inches of rain the previous 2 days, the course was in good shape. Wet spots made for sloppy shots but overall the course was not as wet as expected. Greens were extremely slow.
Nice Course
Will definitely play here again. The parking $20 sucks though.
PAY FOR PARKING
This course was a good value but you have to pay $20 for parking THIS WAS NOT LISTED UNTIL YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL AND BY THAT TIME YOU ALREADY PAID SMH
Great Course
Played the Lakemont course for the first time yesterday. Great, challenging course. Will definitely play again. Greens were nice, there were a few soggy spots from overnight rain. There was a $20 charge to get into the park so factor that in to the price but overall great course.
Stone Mountain course
Played both courses and enjoyed both but I like Lakemont course a little better. Great scenery
Good Round
Found a good deal time and booked. Had played the Lake Course before but not this one. Good layout - narrow, tight fairways on front 9. Back 9 opens up more.
Course was in good shape - greens especially. Would come back in the future
Overall good but sloppy
Good course, challenging layout - needs some work - lots of hard pan on the edges
ok but needs some work
I know we have had a lot of rain but the course is in rather sloppy conditions - get that ground crew out there!!
Amazing scenery ...good golf
I was very impressed with the Lakemount course even on a very windy day. The greens were ok but it's early in the season. The pace was slow but the overall the layout is challenging and great golf overall.
Overall great experience.
Greens were a bit ruff! No pun. That’s a necessary expectation this time of the year. I’ve never really had a bad experience at this course. Very friendly and accommodating.
