Atlanta Evergreen Marriott Conference Resort

Beautiful course. Will definitely play here whenever I’m in the Atlanta area.

Stonemont is a decent pretty typical Atlanta area golf course. Overall the conditions weren’t terrible considering it is winter but the greens have definitely seen better days. Greens are super fuzzy and slow with more than a few areas of burn out and bumpy areas from unwanted grasses sprouting up in the bent grass greens. Overall it is a fun and challenging course that requires a variety of shots to score well, but at the end of the day I would have been very unhappy if I had paid full weekday rate or heaven forbid weekend morning price tag for worse conditions than some Municipal courses in the area. It’s usually worth it for the Hot Deal.

I will say this is the only course where I’ve seen a ball break uphill. Everything breaks toward the Mountian!

Fun course. Holes by water are best. Stone MTN cool place.

You can’t beat the views and the staff members are super friendly.

The Lakemont course at Stone Mountain is one of my favorite courses to play! The views are great and the course is in phenomenal shape! I play a lot of mud-grade courses and for the money, there is no better value!
