Georgia's Hard Labor Creek State Park is located on Lake Rutlege east of Atlanta off I-20. This state park facility features a range of accommodations from camp sites and RV sites to 20 2-bedroom cottages. Amenities here are highlighted by the 18-hole golf course designed by Denis Griffiths and features a pro shop, full driving range, grill and bar. Additional features of this state park, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is horseback riding, off-road mountain biking, hiking, beachside swimming and boat rentals.Facts

Absolutely love this course and is the best course around for your money
The course has very features
The pace of play was excellent until we made the turn and got behind what looked like a family of 4 and don’t think they had ever played before sometimes they would hit 2 or 3 balls before moving on

This is definitely my favorite course it’s the best play for the value. Nothing can beat it for the price. The course conditions and greens gear better every week.
Unique Course, worth the drive from ATL
Lots of elevation changes and blind or near blind shots. Greens are in perfect condition. Fairways are showing the stress from lack of rain but still in good condition. Same for the Teeboxes. Couple of opportunities, random cart path only holes that you don’t know until your cart stops with a micro size pop up. It would be great to turn off the annoying advertisements on the GPS system and use the audible warning for the cart path only situations vs the advertisements. Next, carts should be allowed in The parking lot.
consistent greens
The course has a nice layout and all the greens rolled at the same pace!

Great public course but needs to work on pace of play. No starter, no ranger equals slow play.

I and a group of my friends recently became members. The course is in great condition and the staff is super friendly.
Good weather, Good course
Would rate 4.5 on some items. Greens great condition but fast. Even fringe around greens looks good. Fairways in good condition with good lies for your ball.
Probably best shape we’ve seen course overall. Carts w/ gps helpful. Look forward to going back.
Worth the drive!
The course was in great shape. Greens were fast and difficult to read at times. Secondary cut will swallow a ball and become hard to find.. or hit.
A very challenging layout. New carts with GPS and a friendly staff keep me coming back!
