Great Golf
Course is in great shape greens are super fast and tricky Overall a great value for the price for a challenging course
Great course even greater value
Very tough course for a northern Indiana guy, lol. Very hilly with a great layout. The greens were firm and fast and rolling compared to what I normally play. The pro shop staff were super friendly and helpful and somehow even with a 2 hours frost delay I still teed off right on time at my scheduled tee time. Very nice course and a great value I really enjoyed it. I played with 2 great guys who played there often who were very friendly and helpful for a first timer there with club selection.
Between snow days
I enjoy the course. The greens were outstanding. Not sure how the course would look in the summer, interested to play warmer months. Overall, enjoyed the course, will definitely play again
Great shape
Best shape ever. A lot of demanding tee shots. 1-1/2” of rough makes course play long and difficult to stop the ball on the new firm and fast greens. Great test of golf.
Can’t wait to get back.
Great layout. Greens were quick and rolled smooth. Fairways were pristine. Can’t wait to play again and try to better my score knowing the course a little bit.
Great course
The course is in great shape and I the greens are really fast. Very good challenge for golfers of all levels
The Creek at Hard Labor Georgia State Park
The course is demanding. The greens take some time to adjust to because they are very fast. Some interesting holes with water. We would play here again. Good carts with GPS.
Fairways wonderful but Greens slick
Course in great shape. Ball sits up in fairways nicely. Unfortunately the greens were slick and ball would not check up. Several great shots onto greens and ball would roll off greens. Pack your frustration after hitting a great shot(s) as you watch ball roll through the greens. Otherwise it worth the trip and play. Btw, staff was great!
Long days here
Have played here twice, most likely never again. Pace of play was an issue on both occasions. Fairly common to have 4 different groups all playing the same hole. Course is not in good enough shape to demand $65 on a weekend. Tee times for a busy holiday weekend were spaced 10 minutes apart, doing this they don’t seem to care about pace of play.
Fantastic course with extreme difficulty
The whole course is in immaculate condition. However, the greens are so hard and dry that iron shots bounce over the green or to the back of the green. Greens are lightning fast, but fairways are soft, so not much roll out. The first cut of rough is thick and 3", so finding balls in the rough was challenging. If you want an incredible challenge, make the long drive to the course. You will be impressed with the overall condition, but expect to shoot 10 strokes over your usual round.
Only 1 issue
Course in really good shape, water in coolers on a hot day, would definitely play again & recommend. A Marshall to monitor playing time would help pace of play. The only other issue is the “rough”, thick & penal, can slow down play looking for ball bedded down or trying to hack out of it.
