Lake Richard B. Russell at Arrowhead Pointe State Park

This course is always enjoyable to play and a great value.

Course was in great shape and some of the lake views were amazing on a sunny day., We couldn't figure out why it was "Cart path only" since everything seemed pretty dry despite rain a couple days earlier. This made for a slow round and some backing up at the tee boxes and on fairways. Still had a good time. Love this course.

Played Friday AM the wind was blowing 20-40+ MPH yes, it was breezy out by the lake. The course was in good condition just needs another 2-3 weeks of growth to fill out and shoukd be amazing. The greens were very hard for me to read though. Long puts were slow and shorter putts seemed to roll out faster.

The course is well kept and the views are spectacular

Great course conditions. Georgia should be proud of this course and its staff. I wish South Carolina took the same pride in the Hickory Knob course. It’s maintenance is pitiful compared to Arrowhead.

Beautiful stretch of lakeside holes on back nine. Greens in great shape and rolled well. Fairways coming out of dormancy very nicely. Course in overall great shape. Powdery sand, consistent in every bunker. Second time playing course. Impressed both times.

They have made some nice improvements to course conditions, sodded some formerly bare areas and took out a few trees. Grass in fairways is coming in already and greens are rolling smoothly, although a bit slower than a couple of weeks ago. Great value. Just need to train staff up a bit on quicker check in and check out process at register.

I played the Monday after Easter so maybe that had something to do with it, but the pace of play was horrible. It seemed like the T times were poorly managed. However, the overall course was beautiful. I will definitely give it another chance.
