Nice for visitors
The course was in great shape. There had been a lot of rain recently I but the course did not show signs and was in beautiful shape.
Nice warmup area as well
Only my second time playing. 1st was in the late Fall a number of years ago and today was a marked improvement in the course conditions.
I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the Waycross area.
Awesome course for the money
Beautiful course! Greens had been punched at least a couple of weeks before, so they were slow and bumpy but course condition was great!
Overpriced
Course is nice however, when you want to play 18 more you have to pay for the cart again. We you have a rider that is not playing with you even though you paid for the cart already its 26 extra dollar. The prices here are getting out of hand.
Pure
I normally don’t leave reviews on things. But I remember when this course pre Covid was a 1 star course, very poor maintained but This place has done a complete 360 , It’s a short easy course , no houses , FAST greens (my preference), and it’s worth the price. I feel like it’s one of the only courses in the 912 area that hasn’t lost their minds when it comes to the price to play golf ,
Worth the ride
Good shape has a good atmosphere no houses great draw
Wet course, too many groups of 5
Course was in pretty good shape considering all the rain we have had. Unfortunately it was cart path only, but i understand. Couple of groups of 5 that slowed play a lot. One was playing about 3 holes behind, the ranger was no where to be found. Wind was a factor....very wet fairways.
Great experience
Fairways were good. Greens were good, smooth and fast
We were a twosome playing behind a foursome playing two scrambles. It took 4 holes before the let us play through. That was the only negative.
don't show up with a twosome. problem solved. you are welcome.
Better this round..
Second time on this course and it was in better shape this time around.
Great public course
Well maintained public course with very kind staff. Close to camping and fishing at the state park and sightseeing at swamp park if you want to make a mini vacation.
of course you have to pay for the cart to play again. where do you play and not have to pay for the cart?
