Laura S. Walker State Park

This is a hidden gem! Course was in amazing condition. It is a bit out of the way, but being a state run facility, it is nestled in with a State Park, and the views are just fantastic.

Greens were in great shape, but were just a tad slow. Other than that, this course is a must play.

Put this one on your list.. you won't be disappointed!

Never have I ever had a bad round at this course! Been playing off and in since high school!

The staff is just excellent!

The course was in very good shape. The course would benefit having Course Marshall’s riding around. To help with slow play. The first 9 tool 2 hours 30 minutes to play because of slow play. The back 9 was faster.. The layout is very good. Shot my best score today. even with tough pin placemats today.

Except for the greens being recently plugged (which is a necessary evil) the course is in excellent shape.

The course and lay out is wonderful, but the cost($) has gotten out of hand, not to mention all the red tape they try to put you through. This has caused many of golfers to transfer to the course in Blackshear Ga. Unnecessary prices and not worth the money, it’s called the Lakes not The Masters. And not to mention some of the front desk workers can work on their (PEOPLE) skills. So things just don’t need an Explanation. Change/ before the only people playing there is the workers.

I had all the guys (7) up from Jacksonville for a full day of golf. David and his team had the course in great shape. 36 holes was easy. Lots of golfers out on the course but no slowdown. Greens were rolling smooth and the fairways have grown in nicely. Looking forward to a great summer of golf.

The only reason I ranked the off course amenities low is because they were closed. They are coping as good as they can through these trying times

I always enjoy playing at this course. For me it's local, but it's worth a drive to play. It's well maintained, by friendly staff and worth the cost. Good pace of play, and not too difficult, but yet not too easy. Everyone should give this course a shot!

Fairways and areas around the greens worse than I’ve ever seen there. Greens were long and slow. Typically a great value. Not today.

Nice place...no crowds...nice layout...greens and fairways in really good shape...

Course great shape....played really quickly...greens in good shape for most part. Tee boxes and fairways very nice. Great day, will def return.

THE COURSE TOOK EXCELLENT PRECAUTIONS FOR COVIT 19. THEY HAVE A SPONGE IN THE HOLE SO YOU DON'T TOUCH THE PIN TO GET THE BALL OUT OF THE HOLE. I LIKED THAT BETTER THAN THE CUP EXTENDED UP OVER THE HOLE. YOU HAD TO CALL TO THE SHOP TO PAY, OR VERIFY YOU PAYMENT, THEN OFF YOU GO.

ABOUT THE COURSE, EXCELLENT LAYOUT FOR MY LIKING. SOME HOLES WERE LONG 390 PLUS,

AND OTHER HOLES WERE 320 OR LESS. WHITE TEES PLAYED 6068. FAIRWAY BUNKERS WELL PLACED, USED ALL MY CLUBS. A FAIR AMOUNT OF DOG LEGS..

IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED HERE BEFORE IT MAY BE CONFUSING ON THIS ONE PARTICULAR HOLe. .I AM AT THE ONE FIFTY MARKER, A FLAG IS INFRONT OF ME 153 AWAY. WRONG FLAG AS THE CORRECT FLAG WAS TO THE RIGHT. GREAT FUN THIS COURSE..
