Absoulute perfect condition
One of the best courses I have played in some time. It was in such good shape it was hard to believe what I paid. Great undulating greens. Fairways were wide and greens were large. Great practice area. Will definately play again.
Park course . Very scenic .
I've played this course 3 times in the past year or so . It has been in perfect shape every time . The 2 of us that played yesterday came from opposite directions . He was in the other 2 foursomes when I played here in the past . We both said this is our favorite course . No houses on the course . Just so scenic . Nice people too .
The Lakes at Laura S. Walker is a beautiful course.
The Lakes is a nice layout cut into the Georgia Pines. Adjacent to the Okefenokee Swamp Park. The land rolls and some spots are low. They have recently had a lot of rain, so there is some ponding on the fairways. The greens a well kept and roll true. There is a nice mixture of water hazards and bunkers to make this little golf course a challenge. Well worth the price for not only a beautiful golf course, but also a trip through nature.
You must play this course.
Course is a great value. Not too hard for week end golfers, but enough challenge to make you want to come back.
Nice course
This is a nice course, considering it is a state run public course, have played it twice about a year apart and it is always in good shape, we drive 75 miles one way to play so it is always worth the trip about once a year
Great Course
Very Friendly Staff.....Course is in good shape. Very quite and secluded. A deer ran across the fairway as I was preparing to hit my approach. Very cool. Most other players seemed to be very cordial. We had a group of five in front of us and only had to wait a couple times. Will definitely go back!!
Beautifully designed course, with enough challenge and user friendliness combined to make it really ejoyable to play.
The course was being core-aerated the day we played and this was not mentioned when we made our tee-time reservations through your service. If it had been, we would have selected another day to play. Because of this, we had to play the front 9 twice. Disappointing, to say the least.
This is a lovely course: great design, really interesting and challenging greens w/lots of break and undulations while being large and easy to reach in regulation. The surroundings are magical, an environmental wonder. The staff and patrons were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
We'll definitely return in a bit to play again when the Bermuda grass has grown back in after our tough Spring...
Course has a great layout for the average golfer
From check in to the end of the back nine was a total delight. Everyone we dealt with were friendly an offered every help to make our outing successful. Course was in great shape and offered a challenging task. Greens are very good and hard to read at the same time.
Nice course that care be walked.
This course layout is great for walking, the holes are nicely separated but the distance from green to next tee is excellent. Tree lined requiring good shot placement but short enough to not be overwhelming. Greens are well maintained , hard and fast.
IMMACULATE CONDITIONS
This course is in pristine condition. Greens are challenging and fast. The course is always in excellent condition.
beautiful course
wet summer helped the course. been playing it once or twice a year for the last 6 years, best shape i seen it in. the course is Green and soft, boom away, balls stop dead on the greens. Greens in great shape
