Good experience
Liked the layout, most of the greens were good and ran fast. Fairways well cut. Played twice and on occasion had to wait for lawn mowers. I think they cut daily so course was well kept. Friendly folks. Not busy at the time we played. They appear to allow walking. I think most walkers walk the back 9 because it is closer to the clubhouse. Mulliganz is nice and you can stop there after hole 7 or so, if it is open at the time you play. Overall liked it and played twice. Front 9 was more of the park experience.
First Time Playing here in a Two Years
The greens and fairways are in great shape. Course layout is great. The clubhouse redesign looks great!
Father/son outing
The course was in great shape. Greens were not as fast as they have been in the past, but they rolled true.
I’ll be back before the end of the summer.
Great shape and challenging
Love the layout, all staff were helpful and friendly, greens were in excellent shape, fairways were in very good shape, tee boxes were a little rough but playable....especially considering the drought conditions for the past many months.
Great deal, great golf, great people!
5 STARS across the board!
Highly satisfied!
The course greens are in much better shape since the renovation. Very satisfied with the course and the clubhouse was much more attractive, if I were a better golfer it would have been a perfect day!
Groups of 6 Golfers allowed on course
Ran into 2 groups of 6 players in each group.
Can’t allow that, it slowed our round down to the point that we had to quit early do to slow play.
Over rated
Good greens that rolled true and alittle to slow for me. Fairways and rough was good but tees were spotty and not too level. Sand traps were beach sand and the cart paths had curbs which were annoying .
good track
Greens are new. They roll nice...slow, but nice. There is a lot of grass on the course for this time of the year. It's well worth the trip!
Great Golf Course in Helena, GA
We were driving from Atlanta to Jacksonville to attend the Players Championship. We picked this course as an halfway point between Atlanta and Jacksonville. With some Golfpass discounts we got a smoking deal. The course was really fun, well cared for, and beautiful.
Love the layout
The course is challenging, yet easy to play on. I hit from the reds, my husband hits from the whites. The reds give enough space to make the hitting fair for us women. The holes are easy to navigate from one hole to the next. I love the wildlife on the course too. The ladies in the pro shop are amazing. We LOVE this course
Very nice course, if you are from the area it will make you feel like you are from from home. Definitely be ready to play on hole one it’s a very fun hole!
Starters / Marshals.
We had 5 Groups going off back to back .
Need someone out there Spreading the Groups off.
Buy the time we got to Hole 15 it was a log jam.
We decided to call it a day and did not finish the round.
The group behind us did the same thing
Fairway edges need cutting
Grass is so deep on fairway edges you cannot find your ball. If you are like me you can't land it in the fairway every time. Overall, the course is a great course just wish the rough area was mowed a little lower.
Were the greens still under renovation
