A Gem in Middle Georgia
We frequently make Little Ocmulgee a stop on our trips from the coast to Atlanta. The Lodge is lovely and welcoming and the course a challenging track for two senior golfers! It is in great condition and seldom crowded. We beling to an elite course on St.Simons Island and find the rolling hills and upland terrain to be a refreshing experience.
This course is a true hidden gem
This course is a great place to go I drove from Augusta Georgia to play this course not knowing what to expect. I was truly amazed by the course I will be coming back with a group staying at the lodge and playing it all weekend. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very awesome. This course is a must play
Great place to stay and play golf
Great course . Well maintained and very friendly staff. Love going down with my group of buddies and playing from sunup til sundown!
Nice course
Nice course. Camped at the state park and golfed 18 holes with a cart. Busy day but we managed to get in the round in about 4-5 hours. Nice greens and layout is good. Nice staff. Will play again.
Now Overpriced
I’ve been coming to LittleO for 20 years now. The course is always in good shape. The laid back atmosphere ( NOT big city Atlanta attitude ) has been one of the main reasons why. Another has been affordability and rates that were based on location and making it affordable for the area. Now they have gone up for no good reason at all and have priced many locals out. Know your area and the resident make up. I can and do go to Arrowhead Pointe at Richard B Russell park which is rated as one of the top courses in the state and play for $10 less and more amenities. I will continue to ho to LittleO, but no longer our primary spot. Again, a nice course and the staff in the Pro Shop are always very nice. Thanks
Amazing
Brought the family up for the weekend and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The course was pristine. Course offers scenic views and some of the best greens I’ve played on. A must play especially for the $.
Good Time
I live about 90 minutes from this course. Course was in great shape. Would liked to have had sand in the repair bottles on the cart. I play “senior “ tees normally and I didn’t find the distances a lot different from the white tees. Will definitely play the course again when I’m in the area.
Happy camper
The course was fun, in excellent condition and challenging.
Redneckvile
Love this golf course - BUT - got to the 3rd hole and went through a group of six teenagers playing out of 2 bags they were wearing flip-flops and t-shirts - groups ahead had on no shirt and crankin up the county music - I felt like a golf snob - but golf should be golf -
