Consistent, positive golf experience
Sapelo is a nice course that wanders through southeast Georgia’s low country. It’s about 40 minutes from Savannah but worth the drive. The staff is friendly, range balls are free and plentiful, carts are in good shape, practice facilities better than average. A few houses are on the course but they don’t come into play.
There has been quite a bit of rain lately but the course restricted carts to paths on just a few holes. This time I saw two gators sunning themselves by one of the ponds.
Always a good experience and good value playing at Sapelo.

Course was in good shape considering all the rain we have had. Some of the greens were spotty but most then ran nicely and smooth! I always enjoy playing this course!
