This course was a lot of fun and a good layout
Really enjoyed the course. I have the opertunity to play courses all over the state and this is a good one and very enjoyable
I'll be back
I've played every course on the island. Yes. Frederica is special, Ocean Forest is hard, Sea Island are some of the best resort courses there are... But...
Sea Palms was much better than I expected. The renovation has done it well. First and most important, the greens were fast and true. The layout is interesting enough, challenging enough, but not stupid hard. Fairways were green just almost full. Maybe a week or two. Of course they were getting ready for a Mini tour event which explains why everything was in order.
King and Price used to be my go to on the island when not playing the private courses or staying at Sea Island. I think it's Sea Palms now.
A very pleasant round of golf
Very straightforward golf course. Playable for an average golfer, and from the longer tees, I suspect modestly challenging for the low handicapper. There is a stretch of 4 or 5 holes on the back nine that reach out into the sea grass where there is nothing to slow down the wind; if the wind is up, look out! The greens are fast and roll true; and, they will hold a decent approach shot; come in low and hot, and they will definitely roll off and away. The course was in very good shape, the staff was super. The course was not at all crowded and we had two rounds in three days here that were very very pleasant. Complementary range balls and decent practice area top it off. A very enjoyable round off golf: recommended!
Fast greens
Played in the rain and wind - cart path only which is always troublesome. Course was in fantastic condition and drained extremely well.
Greens were fast and rolled true - would love to play in nice weather. I think we were the one people on the course.
Can’t beat the price
Nice Course
I’ve been playing this course a few times a year for the past few years. It generally is in good condition and not real busy in the winter months. The pace of play was great and the course is fair. It can be pricey, so look for deals on the Golf Now App.
Wouldn’t pay more than 50 for this course
Only two public courses on SSI and all I have to say is............King and prince > Sea palms
Another great round
Had another great round at Sea Palms. Course is in great shape. Staff was friendly and helpful. Groundskeepers were respectful during play. Zero complaints.
