Great layout
Took the drive down from St Simons Island to play here for the first time. Great practice area with complementary range balls. Beautiful clubhouse. I loved the layout but my only issue was with the condition of the greens which is important to me. Not sure I would rush to drive the 50 minutes again until they get the greens straightened out. Overall I enjoyed the course though and for the hot deal price I got it at, it’s hard to beat.
Wet but nice.
The course was very wet because of rain all morning. Despite that the experience was positive, with the fairways and greens in great shape. Very scenic course winding through nice homes, ample ponds, and bordering an expansive marshland. Definitely want to play again after the course dries out.
Great Fairways
Challenging; fareways are wide and for this time in the year the are green with no bareness and greens were slow but in good shape. enjoyable and avery nice venue
Osprey Cove
Great course! The weather was horrendous but the course was in great shape! Greens & tees were maintained very well! Greens were true & fair! Have played several times & will continue to play ! Thanks
Beautiful marsh views
This is a pretty course with a several holes along the marsh with breathtaking and endless views. It is almost distracting. We played in Feb, course was green, a bit wet in places but very playable and the greens rolled well. I will come back to play again. Range is well laid out as well. The color coding of tee boxes seemed odd to me but you can figure it out. You will need to summoned a very solid drive on 18 from the mid and back tees as it is a looong carry over the marsh...I lost a ball there. Red tee players catch a huge break on this one. I wish they had a course layout map because there was a somewhat blind shot on a dog leg par4, I cut the corner thought it was perfect but there is a creek crossing the fairway. But while there were a few more hidden shots there was no real hidden trouble. I found most the the fairways to be generously wide and fun. We drove in a cart but it would be fun to walk. There is a hike though between 9 and 10. Overall we enjoyed it very much.
Best Course in the North Jacksonville Area
This course is one of the fairest, well maintained, downright fun course for a midhandicaper in the area. The staff is helpful and friendly. There are 4 sets of tees so what ever skill level you are with there is something for everyone. If you are looking for a great place to play this one is my favorite.
Always awesome
The course was in really good shape especially for winter. It was a little soggy, but that's to be expected since it had rained the day before. The new greens seem to be a bit more receptive to approach shots and roll true. Tee boxes and fairways in good shape. Even though this is a semi private gated community course, the staff and members have always been very welcoming. It's still the best course condition wise and layout in the area. So glad they continue to have tee times on golfnow.
Great condition
New greens are nice and this is a fun course to play. Nice practice area at no extra charge !!
Fix the Bunkers
The sand traps are all different. The consistency needs work. Only hole 17 had a “normal” bunker. The greens were great, the rest of the course was in fantastic shape.
Excellent Course
Played Sunday afternoon on a near empty course. It’s a beautiful layout in excellent condition with wonderful attentive staff and a great value. If this course were located where I live it would be full every weekend (this was a vacation round). Highly recommend!
Excellent staff and course
Osprey Cove is a great place to play a challenging round of golf. The staff is extremely accommodating and quite supportive. Caroline in the front office is always helpful in the team keeps the course in great shape. If you’re in the area do it! You’ll be happy you did!
Awesome Course
Great deal, great shape. The friendliest pro shop staff in GA
There was a tournament going on and play was almost to a stop. I wish I had known as my time was limited
A must play
Every time I come back I’m always amazed. From the guard at the gate to the staff in the clubhouse. Enjoyable round with great views. Always in immaculate shape. Don’t forget to stop and eat lunch before you leave. Top notch. Best of the best
Pristine
On vacation and mistakenly booked this course without checking drive time. We had to hustle to get there but wow, what a treat! The only thing that tarnished this outing was my occasional sketchy play. Otherwise, BRAVO!!!
Very nice tract
Love the course, the staff, the practice facility.
