Challenging Elevations
Great course for the money. The cart paths could use some work. Will return when to see how it plays when everything is alive.
Great experience
The greens were in great condition, staff couldn't be any better-, overall a great day
Course in poor condition
Have played this course for years but can truthfully say it's in the worse shape I have ever seen. They need to do some serious work on it. They need to pay people to play it instead of you having to pay. Awful round of golf on this course. Played well just terrible shape
Innsbruck
Challenging course. A lot of fun for the money. Will definitely play again
Tight mountain course, wonderful views
Bring extra bullets, tight mountain course with several beautiful vistas.
Rather extreme fairway sloping
Fun, challenge for club selection. Must know your game & control of distance for placement to greens. Cart paths could use better marking from green to next tee in some places. Overall, very interesting layout, with a few forced shots, which could have used some guidance on the tee or card.
Has a scenic mt. view feature. We have been a regular visitor
Two teams for 3 & 4 in front us were extremely slow in playing. We had to wait every 18 holes, and even we replayed same hole rather waiting, they were still behind. We've never seen any ranger in the course of rounding.
Tight course. Best greens around.
Best greens. Tight tight tight. Take plenty of balls. Nice scenery. Never crowded. Try it. Don't be scared.
Plenty of elevation change
Great vistas on every hole. This course is narrow but there are no tricks. Some water but it is not overly challenging. Overall a very nice course to play.
Poor condition.
Greens better than they have been. Fairways, tee boxes poor. Cart paths poor. Views are great. If you go don't keep score, enjoy the mountains, wildlife, and company.
excellent course
I love this course! It's beautiful and is kept in great condition..
Challenging layout ... excellent greens but tough
Tight mountain course. Accuracy off the tees a must. Greens have a lot of break but are fair to judge speed.
No. 15 is a must-play par 3 ... 155 yards but a 180 foot drop from tee to well protected green.
A great experience!
This course is an extreme mountain experience. Be prepared to lose a few balls and find a few balls even if you are a straight hitter. There are shots that require two or three clubs more than the distance indicated and some need a club or two less than indicated. One par three is like teeing off from the rim of the Grand Canyon- A great fun hole. The greens were in very good shape but the rest of the course could use some attention. Over all it was tricky but very playable. A fun day!
Probably would have enjoyed it more except for wet conditions on many holes.
Scenic but very tight.
Wish this course had more forgiving rough areas. Several of our shots were hardly off the fairway yet were completely lost. One ball we lost on the rough just before the fairway on a dogleg because it was so overgrown. Always impressed with the elevation changes and scenery but the punishment for hitting a ball left or right is way too high. Wish it was more open so we could enjoy our round more. With our somewhat skilled golfing crew we were, we had way too many lost balls.
Innsbruck
Great N GA mountain layout. Spectacular views. Challenging, undulating greens.
Average round
Its a mountain course there are a lot of elevation changes. Pretty tight. Lots of uphill approaches where you can't see the bottom of the pin.
excellent staff
Conditions were wet but marshall came oround and advised of holes that were dry, Excellent customer relations
rough fairways
We got a great price on GolfNow and it is just over an hour away so let's go. The course is okay. The fairways are pretty rough and need a trimming. I couldn't tell where the cut line was for the fairways. The greens were in terrific shape. There is no straight shots on the greens but all were nice. We went early to hang out in Helen a little while but that was a bust. Helen is not what it used to be. We will certainly play again.5/27/1
Great layout in need of professional attention...
No starter; no marshalls - a clue of course management. The course layout is sensational, BUT fairways are erratically kept; often weeds rather than grass. The greens do not offer true rolls, traps have occasional lumps of sand, and tee boxes are not maintained. Grass/weeds are not routinely cut and cart paths look like they are in repair - for months.
