Good/Tough Course
Toughest course I’ve played in a while. Course conditions were great though.
Good as always
April conditions are great. Fairways coming in nicely out of winter. Greens are rolling firm and true. Always enjoy playing here. Challenging and fun layout. Staff is always friendly.
Course
Fairways are greening up and drying out. Greens need a little work. Some were covered in muddy crust.
I’m sure it has to do with the soggy, freezing winter. It’ll only get better.
It was quiet and non rushed.
You have to be half mountain goat to play here
The course is extremely hilly. The GPS on the golf carts are horrible. The cart was constantly shutting off while you were in the middle of the fairway. The course is not maintained very well. There are a lot of small rocks and debris everywhere. The course is so slowed that even a fairway drive dead Center rolls off into the woods. The fairways were cut so short in the ground was so dry. You could not even get underneath the ball. Worst golf I’ve played in North Georgie.
18 holes
Took the non golfing wife with me to get a taste of the outdoors. She loved the scenery.
Okay
The course was generally in okay condition but in comparison to the other state courses in the same area, it is a step or two below. Tee boxes need work and the greens are pretty slow compared to other courses.
Beautiful and enjoyable course
The course is very scenic and a fun play. It was in very good condition and very light play the day we were there, but apparently had school tournaments in the afternoon.
The only negative was the condition of the proshop and what was available. The building is old and bathrooms are in disrepair. And, there was nothing to eat in the proshop at the turn.
Overall an enjoyable play.
Greens
Lots of trash on the greens. Looks like it was plugged recently maybe? However the cleanup left a bunch on the greens.
Very low volume and we played at our pace
Rangers
The Rangers here have really become annoying. All I'm saying.

Ravines, Views & Great Greens
Played in early March and the course was in very good shape for the time of year. Greens were excellent (5/5) — smooth and rolling true. Fairways, tee boxes, and cart paths were about 4/5 and very playable.
The carts have GPS, there are nice restrooms on the course, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Fun layout with ravines, elevation changes, and great views.
Enjoyed this course!
This was not only my first time at this course, but, it was my first time playing golf. While this is not a top of the line course, I really enjoyed mine time there even with 35 mph wind and it being feeezing cold. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. They have club rentals, although the sets are pretty well used, my set did have an odyssey putter in the bag along with pretty much any range of club you would need as a beginner to get the job done. Will be going back soon!
