Wet With Long Rough
Too wet for me.
Rough really long, I guess from all the rain.
Played the gold tee's and it played way too long for our group.
With narrow fairways , long rough and wet conditions it ate our lunch. Too many ball marks not repaired, but greens were pretty good considering the conditions.
Best non private course in Savannah
You get what you pay for at Savannah harbour. It was an awesome course will top level service. The service was that of a course you pay 200+ for. The course was wet in some spots because of the downpour the night before but with a little work and drying out it would play like the major tournament level course it was intended to be.
The Club at Savannah Harbor
Course is a little pricey, but well worth the money compared to the other local courses. I played two other Public courses and Savannah Harbor twice while I was here. Pay the extra $50 and play at Savannah Harbor. Friendly staff, 2 beverage carts during peak hours, free range balls.
Excellent course and staff
All around excellent condition, beautiful scenery, and wonderful staff. Nice job. I'll be certain to return.
Greens in horrible condition
Tees & fairways in ok condition but greens were a mess! Rolling maybe 3 &1/2 out of 12 and pock-marked in several locations. Would not play again in those conditions at any price!
Always great
Course was a little wet more so than normal but it has rained a lot recently. In spite of a little water the course was in great shape as always.
Everything I expected and more
Loved the course! Everyone was very friendly, can't wait to go back.
Beautiful course
Course was in good shape but the greens were in poor shape and slow .
Nice but...
The course was beautiful and well maintained. I don't know why the starter was sending everyone out as twosomes or singles--it slowed everything down quite a bit.
Maybe the low country's best
The only negative about this is the bag drop.
All else is just top notch.
Beautiful Course
A very nice layout and challenging. We played it with 25 to 30 mph and it was very difficult but fair. I would highly recommend the course.
Drive from anywhere to play this course!!
We stopped here to play on our golf trip to Jacksonville and this place is spectacular! It's very forgiving and wide open on most holes. Down right amazing!!!!!
Great value
My wife and I played this course and we were very satisfied with the golf course and the Golf Now value. We were caught behind a VERY slow group and finished in 5 1/2 hours! Only a warning sent to our cart GPS system no ranger. Never fun when slow play is the pace.
Well conditioned and mainteained
What I expected from a course that once hosted a Seniors Tour Event. Fairways, greens and tees in very nice condition. Sadly the beverage cart does not sell mixed drinks.
Excellent driving range and putting green. Would like to see better on course directions from hole to hole....maybe paint this on the cart paths? Scorecard and tee markers a bit confusing. There are 4 sets of tees however the card shows 5 yardages. Turns out that the silver is a shared tee with members....we concluded that on certain holes this allows the members to tee forward of forced carries.
Overall an excellent experience
I'd give it another try...
Tee times were running behind due to a frost delay; nothing the staff can do about that but they should be able to manage keeping groups aware of the situation and getting groups off in the correct order. They made a bad situation worse. Greens were not in great shape compared to the rest of the course which was in very good shape for late winter. Course layout is terrific, a few challenging par fives and par threes. I'd give the course another try for sure but in spring or summer.
best course in savannah
the course was in great shape and the staff make you fell more than welcome.
nice course. great bridge views. friendly staff
course was a little wet. would like to come back when it played hard & fast
Love the course
We play this course every year when we come to this area. It is always in good shape. We like all the holes. It was very wet this time due to heavy rains the night b/4 but sill enjoyed.
Pretty good course
I played there for the first time this weekend. There was a fundraiser tournament that had a shotgun start 20 minutes before my tee time( I wish golf now would have told me that). The fairways were in excellent condition but the greens had way too many unrepaired ball marks in them...my putts were literally bouncing to the hole. I suspect this was the tournament in front of me and not the usually players/members. Overall its a great course and I will be going back.
excellent course for this type of year!!
The course is med-hard, definitely for an experienced golfer! Bring your A game when you come to the harbour!
