About
The Club at Savannah Harbor is steeped in Southern charm, offering dramatic views that span from the surrounding wetlands of the Back River to Savannah's famous Historic District. Sam Snead and Bob Cupp designed the golf course. Their ultimate goal was to bring to life the philosophy of "risk and reward." For example, a well executed shot placed near a hazard is rewarded with less club to the green or a better approach angle, or even both. The putting surfaces have gentle transitions to different pin locations, making them more traditional than modern. The designers incorporated another classic design element, the greens have subtle roll-offs or collars that fall away, a feature of golf courses from the 1930s and 40s. Golfers can also use the club's large, duel-ended practice facility.

Savannah Harbor Golf Club
This is a great course for the money. Paid $129 for 18 holes. The clubhouse is immaculate, the pro shop is top tier. Greens and fairways were in excelllent shape. Driving range is one of the best I’ve been to. Overall a great course for the money.
Great course!
Challenging but not overly hard course. Course is in better condition than any other public course in the area. Better stay out the rough or you’ll never find your ball. 9/10 recommend playing here.
Awesome place
From the club house to the course. It was great. The course has been hammered with tons of rain but they are doing good with maintaining it. Such a friendly staff and seamless process

Everything was great from check in to end of the round.
Friendly staff , the marshall s were great , adjusted our group s tee times so that our two groups could play close together.
Too Wet, Greens Sanded that day.
After many inches of rain, the course was a soggy mess and could have used a day in the sun to dry out. The greens were plugged recently and sand was spread on the greens that day or the night before. It was like chipping with your putter.
The wet course with very big mosquitoes.
The course was soggy and wet this day, but everything self was excellent as away. Will play it every chance I get, but next time i will bring my bug spray with me. The mosquitoes was terrible.
Not that impressed
I was excited to play this course. The layout was not bad. Aside from the woman working at the bar, the staff was not that great when it came to simple issues. The pace of play was slow, we were a twosome with a few foursomes in front of us. The group behind us kept hitting into us. This was just a bad experience on a mediocre course.
Savannah Harbor
Incredible course in great condition and
terrific staff. Unfortunately, the cost has risen significantly over the past couple of years.
We’re locals, and this is now only a special occasion course for us.

Fun round at Savannah Harbor
The course is in very good (B+) shape. The greens still need to grow in a bit after aeration. Beware that bunker faces may have a thin layer of sand over what feels like a concrete base. Good value the money. One of my favorite courses in the area.
