Course needs attention
This course is in bad shape starting with the golf cart path where there are holes, bumps and deep craters everywhere. The sand traps were in terrible shape and many of them were just mud. The greens are not being taken care of and neither are the fairways. The price they charge for playing a course in this shape is outrageous.
Great course but battered
I have played this course well over 50 times. Great course. But the course is in need of much repair. The cart paths are really bad and dangerous. The greens are showing more wear than usual even though we have had plenty of rain in IL. The Bunkers were either full of water or so dried out it was like hitting on concrete. I am hoping they can do a little better moving forward
Just ok
I like the course layout but it's over priced and the condition is questionable. Played late morning on a dry day and the bunkers had mud/standing water and the cart path was filled with potholes. Also had no beverage cart on a nice mide July day the entire round. Value for the price not worth it in my opinion
Think Twice Paying Those Fees
Clearly not a $75 course...I knew that going in..that's why I got a pretty good deal for $38 on GN. Course needs loving care...greens ball marked everywhere...no sand in traps...no ball washers...even missing hole plaques. Not what you'd expect for a resort course trying to attract business conferences. Would I go again? Yeah for $38!
Pace of play
I was very displeased with this course based on the fast the course claims to not have the money to hire enough staff. Not having a ranger on the golf course is a detriment. We had people in front of us that had no idea about how to keep up the pace of play or even an idea that they had to do anything. I questioned the starter about having a ranger and he said we are short staffed and cannot have a ranger. If this is the case you should close the course
Great resort course!
Arguably the best resort golf course in DuPage County. Narrow fairways, fast-moving greens, and #5 is one of the most challenging par-4s I’ve ever played.
