Day off
Had an awesome time with great experience. However, the carts need to be updated.
Greens were slow but in great shape
Always a challenge here. Course is in great shape gonna play before year ends again.
Great course
Great place to play just b careful some holes r laied out like a linked course.
Fantastic course
Fairways and greens are fantastic. you will absolutely
Love this course.
Excellent but Difficult
The quality of this course is superb. The fairways and greens are extremely well kept. The staff is beyond friendly. The views are second to none. The only issue with this course is that it is brutally difficult. However, this can be fun. I suggest you bring plenty of balls. When you think you have enough, bring 30 more.
Ball eater
First the good...the course is in great shape. The staff is wonderful. Fairways and greens are in perfect condition. This course is as difficult as any I've ever played. Mountain course that is very unforgiving. This course will walk you to death. The distance and hills between the tee boxes and greens are billy goat territory. bring plenty of balls. Lots of blind shots, and forced carries. Make sure you play the correct set of tees for your skill level. Fairways slope towards 4-5 foot tall weeds and down the mountains. A placement course at its best. Bring your "A" game, or you'll be in for a long day.
Great course and atmosphere
We have played Eagle Ridge several times now. The staff is extremely friendly. We love the layout. It is difficult for higher handicaps but still fair. Can’t wait to go back!
beautiful day at Yatesville
Great day to play golf. Greens and fairway were very good.
Staff was great. Enjayed the round and day.
Best Mountain Course I have ever played
Although in the Kentucky foothills, this course has a mountain style layout. An amazing course and on every tee off was marveled by the beauty of the hole. You cannot walk this course, distance between some tees considerable and elevation changes are dramatic. It is a shot placement course but very fair and not "mickey mouse" like some hill/mountain courses can be. A truly legit test and great layout. Well worth it! The bunkers do need repair but I have heard Kentucky State parks is spending $12,000 per bunker to upgrade.
Course was in great shape. The greens were areiated a week ago so a bit slow but thats to be expected. Fairways still dormant Bermuda but very nice to hit off of. Bunkers are a bit rough but the grounds crew were working on them that day to get them ready for play. The staff as always are the best in the nation. Tella at the pro shop takes care of her golfers and is such an asset.
Great mountain course!
Great place to spend a Saturday afternoon!
Be ready to play all 18 holes without a clubhouse visit. The holes do not loop back to the house.
Normally they have coolers out every 3 holes or so, this time they didn’t. Probably because they just finished an aireration project. Also the fountains were out, no big worries though.
Course was very fun and time just flew, needed a little more green work, again under construction and the time of year.
Staff is SUPER friendly every time I go and they offered me a tip sheet. Went with my brother father and fiancé.
Beware of turkeys on the 8th hole green ;).
The most scenic course you will ever play!
When you play this course. You will say WOW! THIS IS AMAZING. The only BIG knock on this course is the traps are so bad they are unplayable. It has been that way for over 10 years.
Course needs mowed
It was like playing a US Open course. We were losing balls in the rough. I didn’t realize pros were coming here to practice for the Open.
Challenging but fun course to play
Like playing on a dart board. Couldn’t just walk up to the tee and bomb one, had to plan out your shots carefully. A tip sheet was given at the clubhouse which helped for first time players of the course like us. Great fairways and greens were good too, looking forward to going back.
Course
Course was in great condition. Best I’ve seen it. Great job.
Breathtaking golf
Breathtaking tees and cart paths. Challenging up and down course. Fun round. Excellent fairways and greens.
