Course was in great condition. Greens were really great!
Wonderful course
One of the best courses I’ve played in Louisiana. Perfect greens and well kept facilities. Newly upgraded golf carts are wonderful. Will be back soon
average course
5somes should not be allowed. Pace of play way too slow. No marshalls.
One of the best public courses
This course ranks as one the best public courses I’ve played. Pace of play is little slow but it’s a popular course so it is to be expected. The layout and condition of the course make play enjoyable. It’s a challenging course for the novice and intermediate golfer. The staff in the clubhouse and on the course are very professional and helpful. I would recommend this course
Nice track
Had fun.playing here... only thing is description of course really does not match well... not an old plantation feel but fun never-tge-less
Awesome course
Great layout with well kept greens and beautiful grounds. Good practice facility including driving range, putting green and chipping green.
Cart Path Only
It's really annoying when the course give no heads up about Cart Path Only play. With technology we have today, the least they could do is post that info on the website.
The pace of play was terrible to begin with. Add Cart Path Only, and we ended up with a 5 1/2 hour round. My dad is 75...Cart Path Only doesn't do him any good.
Their should be a better way letting golfers know Cart Path Only is effect before showing up at the first tee.
Carter Plantation
Overall, great course conditions. Greens extremely fast. The course is really challenging.
Soft
Tee boxes need work. Sand traps too. Drainage is an issue
Carter Plantation
The course was in basically perfect shape. The greens were smooth which rolled fast and true to breaks. The fairways were very well kept up and maintained. The carts were very nice with the GPS feature working well. The experience was excellent and I was very pleased. Got the round on a "Hot Deal" which made it even more worth it for the lower price.
Beautiful course
This was an unbelievably beautiful course. It was well-maintained the greens and tee boxes were excellent. The only problem is sometimes the golf carts are too sensitive to the GPS and will shut down even if you are not in restricted area. Pace of play slowed down a little on back 9 and the marshal started driving around but it was not, by far, the worst I’ve seen. Those little hiccups won’t keep from coming back to this beauty.
