About Coushatta Casino Resort

Coushatta Casino Resort is located in Kinder, Louisiana, close to the golf and gaming destination of Lake Charles near the Louisiana-Texas border. This property, home to the largest casino in the state with live table games and poker, features an 18-hole golf course, Koasati Pines, and three different lodging units. The Grand Hotel is an adults-only hotel connected to the gaming floor. It has spacious and quiet guest rooms and suites. The Seven Clans hotel is a non-smoking hotel also connected to the casino. Additionally, there are chalets and and RV park onsite. The golf course was a Golfers' Choice 2020 selection and is a par-72 championship facility featuring live oaks and pines, as well as a 19th-hole par 3.

Really Wet

Played course after the big rainstorms but got a great deal on green fee.

Cart path only and this is not a great course to walk but did get my exercise.

Too wet

Played the day after a major storm so it was cart path only. Fairways were pretty wet but were draining well considering the amount of rain from the day before. Can't wait to go back and play when it's dry.

Great course. Great shape!

Outstanding shape and lay out. Having just played a few other places the staff friendliness was sub par. lol. You could tell there was no incentive or intention to make you feel welcome.

I love to play this course whenever I visit Louisiana. The layout makes for some challenging holes. The tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens are in great shape for this time of year. The pace of play is excellent. I finished 18 holes in 3 hours as a single player. Highly recommend this course.
