This course is wide open

I played this course twice in 2 weeks! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My buddies and I agreed that this course will be Our Friday meeting place.

Worth the Drive

Drove all the way from Houston,TX The course is better than the casino. Your best bet is on the Contraband Bayou. WATCH FOR GATORS

Great shape

course was fantastic. Range needed some work but the course itself was great. Greens a tad bit slow could tell they were aerated about 2 weeks ago. Would definitely play again

Nice Course

I am still a beginner and didn't play that well but this course actually helped because it is mostly very open. The cart was probably the nicest amenity because it had a range finder built in that seemed to work very well. I thought the carts were very impressive. Overall, a nice course and I wouldn't pay full price unless it was a special occasion but if you can find a hot deal on here it is well worth it.

Fun layout but can be challenging

The course lays out right in front of you, but can be deceivingly difficult if you put your tee shot in the wrong place. The course was not in great condition but with the bad weather that has rolled through in 2014 its understandable. Not a bad round of golf but nothing to write home about. Give yourself some time to visit the the Golf Shop, good people and good merchandise. If you win some skins you can double down at the casino.

A top shelf golf experience in Lake Charles

This is an experience for the high rollers that frequent the next door casino at L'Auberge with a lot of nice amenities. With a beautiful Tom Fazio design that tips out at 7,077 yards, it's all the course you can handle from the tips but certainly playable for everyone else. Lots of water, some gators, very scenic.

Not worth the green fees

Greens never in good shape. Does not drain well. Nicer courses in the area for less money. Small pro shop with no grill, only cart girls.
