Best track near Baton Rouge!
Thought the course was fantastic. Firm greens that rolled true but also allowed the ball to check up. Difficult holes where placement is vital to scoring. Par 4s were collectively short from the blues. Would likely play the tips next time. Only complaint is that some of the tee boxes were pretty chewed up. Advise to move them around to give time for them to repair and regrow. Sand traps were a bit rocky and not very full. All around lovely course with challenging holes! Can’t wait to get back out there and play again!
Beautiful course!
The elevation changes on this course are challenging yet fun. The greens and bunkers were in good shape but some of the tee box’s could use some work. This course is so scenic that my wife (who does not play golf) like to ride along with me just to enjoy the beautiful scenery. A must play if you are in the area.
Excellent Course!
I would highly recommend, this course was excellent. very challenging, VERY well kept, facilities were clean, super friendly staff, restaurant was very good. Will definitely be back!

The Bluffs
Group of 5 playing an hour ahead of us slowed up the course and took entirely too long looking for balls. The course was great, but the players exercised poor golf etiquette.
Trending upward but still a shell of its former self
I know it's winter and I took that into consideration. Greens rolling really well and fast. Tee boxes were mostly really bad, fairways were okay, most covered in patches of poa annua but grass none the less. Most bunkers were totally neglected, and anywhere that wasn't the faiway or green was in pretty bad shape.
I'm eager for summer to see how big of a step this course can take back in the right direction. The layout and scenery are A+. Still not quite worth the drive unless you can pay $30ish.

It’s winter so course is in that typical winter time condition. Love this course❣️
The course is on its way back. The greens are beautiful, and the fairways are very good as well. The tee boxes are mostly fine; a couple are a bit sandy. The bunkers are in fair condition and probably need to rack and place in many of them.
I heard that the homeowners have bought the course and there is a lot of effort into rebuilding the course into it's former glory. Let's hope that comes to fruition, because this course layout is one of the best in the Gulf South.
Best design in Louisiana
The Arnold Palmer designed golf course isn’t just the typical flat Louisiana golf course were used to. Awesome elevation changes make you feel as if you’re in the Carolinas.
Greens are in decent shape, consistent roll. Staff was friendly, but pace of play could have been better. Overall I definitely will be back and bringing my friends along as well. Love this place.
