Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth
About Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth
The Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth is located in the historic town housing Plymouth Rock at the gateway to the Cape. The 50-room French manor house combines the amenities of a world-class spa, elegant dining and the privacy and service of living on an estate. The inn and spa buildings are decorated by monet ponds gardens and warm landscaping reminiscent of the countryside near Paris. Mirabeau, loosely translated as “reflected beauty”, is adjacent to the Jack Nicklaus course at the Pinehills Golf Club. The Pinehills golf community is also home to a Rees Jones course, forming one of the top 36-hole clubs in New England. Historic Plymouth is a great destination for families with Plimoth Plantation, museums, monuments, whale watching, horseback riding, dinner cruises, fishing, boating and sightseeing.Facts

Return
These 2 championship layout are the best in the area. Plus a great practice area.
Back again
I keep going back to one of the best golfing experiences in Massachusetts. Check it for yourself.
What can I say...always phenomenal
If you follow me on twitter or you have just seen my previous reviews on GolfAdvisor you know how I feel about the Jones course at Pinehills. Both of the courses at this property are two of the best public courses in Massachusetts. The Jones course is an interesting layout , it is tighter than Nicklaus and far more demanding off the tees. Once again the course was in excellent condition from tee to green. The greens were very consistent and they held as well. You can’t go wrong with either course at Pinehills but if you want a bit of a tougher test then Jones is the course for you.
Fantastic Choice..
Upon being directed to the range after check-in, walked out to find my bag already strapped to a cart and range balls all set up.. just wish I would have gotten there a touch sooner. Wonderful experience this was and the course conditions and layout were just perfect. Mostly wide open fairways but still a challenge, definitely will return when back in this area.. cant wait.
Back again
After many years away the game I'm playing again and pine hills is great golf destinations with 2 championship courses. Just bring your A game. Come check for yourself and you will make return visit just like me
Excellent course/facility
This course is always in tip top shape and the practice facilities are great. Never been to a public course this nice before. Would play here everyday if I could.
Greatest Golf Course in Massachusetts
This place is always in great condition and it is the best place to play in Massachusetts.
6/21
Played on a Saturday in June. A few rain delays but overall course was in mid-summer form and overall perfect. One of my favorites to play.
Windy day....
Played with three very pleasant members on a blustery cool day. Great pace, and a beautiful and very well designed course. Lovely conditions overall......but
Positioned as the go-to "premium" course with prices to match. Why no turf mix to fix fairway divots (heavy outing play with a few too many hackers?) Why not screen bunker sand for rocks (not pebbles but rocks).
Overall tee to green experience is excellent but could (should?) be improved with little investment of time or money.
Best in Eastern Mass
This really is the apex of public golf on the east coast of Massachusetts
One of the best public courses in the state
Pinehills never disappoints. Both courses are two of the best in the region and I would recommend you play both if you can. the Jones course has a great layout with several elevation changes. It is also a fair course with decent sized landing areas from the tee and some larger greens when you will need to be pin hunting to have a chance at birdie. .
Great Shape
Despite having a rainy April in the Northeast the Nicklaus course was in great shape. Fairways, bunkers, and greens were better than we expected for this time of year. Usually play this course about 4 times a year and is the course I go to when guest are in town for a few rounds.
FIRST TIME, WONT BE THE LAST...
Starts at the BAG DROP...staff on hand to remove and return bag from cart...to check in...then to be directed to the range for included driving/putting/chipping/sand practice...to bottled water at the starter...then the course itself(NICKLAUS) was just right...played a different course earlier in the week, and had 7 of 9 holes plug on drivers...not so here...greens are quick and true...just full of class...even the men's locker room...will have to find time to enjoy it all the next time...well worth the trip from just about anywhere
Fun day in spite of bad weather.
My group enjoyed the course in spite of it being cold and windy and a little wet.
Great day
We enjoyed the track and the people at the course. It was cart path only but me wife got a handicap placard so we stayed away from the valleys.
Can't lose at Pinehills
I was originally slated to play the Jones course but was told when I got there that I was set to play the Nicklaus course. As I said in the title, you can't lose when you play here. I prefer the Jones course because it plays more difficult to my style of game, but the course is in great shape already, probably in better shape now than more will see throughout the season. I can't recommend this place enough.
Course was in unbelievable shape for so early in the season. I booked another course for the same day at another course but GolfNow really messed up and the course never got that I booked so last minute thank god pine hills had an opening for only two of us.... course was great GolfNow not so good. They promised me some promotion codes but I still haven’t reiceved them
