Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth
About Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth
The Mirbeau Inn & Spa Plymouth is located in the historic town housing Plymouth Rock at the gateway to the Cape. The 50-room French manor house combines the amenities of a world-class spa, elegant dining and the privacy and service of living on an estate. The inn and spa buildings are decorated by monet ponds gardens and warm landscaping reminiscent of the countryside near Paris. Mirabeau, loosely translated as “reflected beauty”, is adjacent to the Jack Nicklaus course at the Pinehills Golf Club. The Pinehills golf community is also home to a Rees Jones course, forming one of the top 36-hole clubs in New England. Historic Plymouth is a great destination for families with Plimoth Plantation, museums, monuments, whale watching, horseback riding, dinner cruises, fishing, boating and sightseeing.Facts

As usual, an awesome experience
There is no doubt that this and the Jones course are two of the best public courses in the state if not in all of New England. The course is always in great shape, the staff if phenomenal and the practice area is top notch. If you’re coming to the Boston area and can only play one course make it a Pinehills course.
Great golf course!
Really great 18 hole track. Try to keep it out of the bunkers.
We loved the challenging hole layout.
Pinehills gets it
I always leave Pinehills happy. The people here understand how to operate and maintain a golf course. The tee times are perfectly spaced for a consistent pace of play. You almost never wait on tee boxes.
What makes Pinehills a 5-star golf course is the practice facility and clubhouse. With a double ended range, 4 practice greens and a clubhouse with a "private" feel, you could really spend a whole day here working every aspect of your game and relaxing at East Bay Grille. This continues to be one of the best all-around public golf venues in the south shore.
Solid Course, but a little Steep
Played the Jones course Sunday July 15th and traveled from CT to play. Back 9 much better than the front with a lot of elevation. Very enjoyable from the back tees. Don’t know if I would return considering the $150 greens fee. Their slogan is “Be A Member for the Day” and was disappointed that after a 90 degree Sunday afternoon I wasn’t able to shower because of lack of towels. Was planning to sit down and eat but left because no shower. Overall solid course but don’t know if I would go back.
Still playing
Great course but plan on 6 hrs to play. People are slow, waited 5-10 min on every hole. I’m writing this review that golf now asked me to write via email and we are still on the course. Can’t play golf any slower than here.
Great course...
The course itself is challenging and in great shape. Staff is terrific. Nice practice facility. It is a must in MA.
Hot Day
Brutally hot, with a heat index in the triple digits, but a fairly steady breeze helped with that. The Nicklaus course is easier off the tee than the Jones, but the challenge is all in the approach shots. Greens weren't slow nor fast, and they rolled well. Fairways and tees were also in good shape. The practice facility is unmatched, but I couldn't take full advantage because of the hot temperatures.
Glad I got a hot deal price
Overall was good. Range, staff and course layout were very good, however the greens were blotchy and kinda inconsistent and the bunkers were more dirt than sand. Expectations were high going in and didn't quite live up to the hype. Nice course but not $105 nice. Enjoyed the experience, but not in any hurry to go back.
First timer but not the last
Everything was great but the pace of play. 5 plus hrs too long for suck a nice course. After 5th hold, had to wait every hole thereafter. Got slower after the 10th. Guys in front so slow but the groups in front were extremely slow.
Greens were half the break they appear, fyi.
love playing here
pine hills, as awesome as it is, can be a little pricey for me. But with golf now, got a great deal so i could not pass it up. love the driving range, relaxing atmosphere, and the course is excellent.
Class-act Course with Top shelf accommodations!
I play golf three times a week & enjoy a challenging layout course,& Pinehills Jones course meets all of my expectations! yesterday when I played , after going through several groups , I was a single, I was able to play 18 holes in under four hours. I am a low handicap & very quick player and was able to move around this wonderful track and putt on some very well-maintained greens . The 15th hole is one of the most beautiful par 5’s anywhere in the area! Looking forward to playing the Jones course again , love the challenge it provides!
