The Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest overlooks Ford Lake, much like the adjacent Eagle Crest Golf Club, home of the Eastern Michigan University men's and women's golf teams. The hotel offers 40,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor event space. It is minutes from EMU's campus in Ypsilanti and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Golfers can dine at the Terrace Room in the hotel or the Eagle Crest Grille with an indoor/outdoor seating at the clubhouse. The fitness center also has an indoor pool. ONLY PROBLEM WERE GREENS JUST AERATED
Great course but the greens were just aerated which is normal in the fall.

Top notch all the way around
Scenic and challenging. Water on several holes over looking Ford Lake. Fairways are beautiful, greens are fast and the rough is tough. Stay in the fairway and you can score. Will definitely play here again.

Pairing up
Every time I’ve made a tee time for 3 here, a single player gets matched up with my group. I’m not paying to play with people I don’t know. I don’t get along with people I don’t know. The worst part was that the single person didn’t pay for a cart while my group has carts. The ranger still put him with my group. When I asked if he could give him a cart he laughed and said he didn’t pay for one. So we were forced to play with someone who’s walking while we ride lol After we started all 3 of us felt obligated to have him ride with us. That’s not what we paid for.

Good track in great shape
Course layout leaves a little to be desired - some goofy holes. But good luck finding a better maintained course for $50.
They've done some great work removing some trees and adding tee boxes. Will definitely be back.

Skipping the line
I've played this course multiple times and really do enjoy it. The starters and rangers keep the pace of play reasonable and enjoyable even on weekends. Unfortunately, someone in management decided to let sneak 4 of their friends in front of us. How do I know this? I was standing right there having been told to wait 5 minutes for even spacing a foursome walked up and informed the starter that they were to go before us. They name-dropped someone from the clubhouse and teed off shortly after. In all, it was a 5 hour round and really aggravating that our money and time are less valuable than the friends of management. I play here because it's usually so well managed on weekends and will re-evaluate coming back anytime soon.
