The Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest overlooks Ford Lake, much like the adjacent Eagle Crest Golf Club, home of the Eastern Michigan University men's and women's golf teams. The hotel offers 40,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor event space. It is minutes from EMU's campus in Ypsilanti and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Golfers can dine at the Terrace Room in the hotel or the Eagle Crest Grille with an indoor/outdoor seating at the clubhouse. The fitness center also has an indoor pool. This course is beautiful this is probably one of the best courses I've ever been to and I am going to come back

Great course
Course was in good shape.
Slower play is common out there since course is well played.
Only ding is larger than normal rocks in some bunkers...absolutely no way I'm going to mess up wedge...course can do better.

6-some?
I got out of work at 330 and wanted to relax to a round of golf. Called Eagle Crest and book a 520pm tee time. It was all that was available. I checked in, it was a tad difficult finding the clubhouse. I paid the twilight fees plus an extra $20 for my wife to jyst ride and not plsy. I was somewhat admonished by the guy dealing out carys for cutting it so close as it was 520 when we grabbed our cart. To my knowledge, we were the last to come through.
He told us there were several groups ahead, so it might be slow and we shouldn't expect to play through because it was stacked.
The front 9 was a little slow, but not bad.
The course is beautifully laid out and very well kept.
We teed at the 10th, pulled up into the fairway to realize a 6-sone was ahead of us and a 4-some ahead of them and that was all that was ahead of us. I tried not to be forceful. But we caught up to the 6 some ahead of us and it would have been nice had they offered to let us play through as it was starting to get a little shadowy. We ended up skipping by them on the 12th as they all seemed to be taking several shots from a sand trap and just goofing off.
By the time we got done with 13, having played into the 4- some ahead of the group of 6 it was nearly dark, so we decided for safety sake and cost of losing balls, to call it a day a left 5 holes unplayed.
We asked the young man if 6 somes were regularly allowed and he said yes. I voiced my surprise. A course of this caliber, it would seem, would enforce limits , etiquette, and maybe monitor for slow play due to excessive amounts of players playing 2- 3 balks each.
As I said the course is gorgeous, but if i am going to spend that kind of money and end up 5 holes short of a full round, I will take my business elsewhere.

Always love playing this course. Greens are challenging and overall a nice lay out.

Eagle Crest Review
Nice course. Needs to be maintained for goose droppings more consistently. Greens were a little beat up, but everything else was in solid shape. Great driving range.

Course is in great shape! Too 5 for sure to play on Michigan if not number one! Greens are tough but they roll true!!!! You will not be disappointed!
