Great Public Course
Home to Eastern Michigan golf team. Fantastic course that has been in great conditions both times I played. The greens are fast and challenging for sure. Highly recommend giving it a go if youre in the area.
Great
The course was in great shape considering it was November 2nd. Greens were punched not too long ago but it didn’t affect the roll. They were smooth and fast. Fairways (when I hit them) were in great condition as well. Paid $65 but I’d say it was worth it
Great day for fall golf
The course was in excellent condition for fall golf. The course was practically clear of all leaves, fairways and greens were in great shape, and the staff is excellent as well.
It was a treat!
Course is in great shape. Course was busy but Pace of play was good. Will definitely play again when in the area.
Beautiful day out
Slow groups in front of us so we were not able to complete the round.
Great course
Greens were under aeration
But the course reflected the maintenance in their green fees
One of the best course in the area
Pace Of Play Slowed Down After Front Nine
We (threesome) completed the front in under 2 hours,
Once we got to hole 11 the backup began. We stopped play after the 16 hole because we were running out of daylight and the groups ahead of us had not teed off of 17.
Previous layout was better
As I've played leagues on this for past few years, the new change of cutting down trees, blocking prime trap bunkers made this course slightly less challenging. Wish the existing bunkers had fluffy sand, it's all compact, super wet even after 3 days past rain.
What’s happened to course?? Was the gem of area…now not sommuch
Greens were inconsistent (some rolled fast and others not at all). Every putt was a bouncing display given the unrepaired ball marks and others ball marks that were fixed poorly. Course has taken a nose dive…I’ve played many times over years and recent but this is a sudden change in quality. Also was populated with new age rec golfers taking there time with every mishit, had to quit after 9.
