Love this track!
Gorgeous course with tons of water, tight fairways? Well placed bunkers, and greens that are true and fast. Had to go around again because I don’t get to play here as much as I would like.
Highly recommend this course. I’ll be back for sure
Awesome
Great course super, fast greens. Stay out of the rough super thick and long will eat a ball they should be cut a little shorter
Confusion
I had confirmation but we were not on their time sheet. Manager had to call golf now. Major confusion on golf now’ apart. Manager took care of us. Course was outstanding.
Pretty good!
Challenging but fair course with scenic views and varied approaches. Two minor complaints were the pace of play due to the course hosting a PGA junior tournament while STILL letting normal golfers go out every 10 minutes and not pairing us up in fours (= a backup by Hole #2), along with the grass not being mowed very recently causing some unnecessarily tough shots when in the rough. Just minor things though and we did enjoy our round.
Important to understand rating
Let me start by saying that my rating has everything to do with the course not having a ranger, and the fact that after driving almost an hour and a half, I had to leave after the 12th hole. The course is super cool as far as layout. Conditions were good as well, not the best, but certainly worth playing. However, I was so excited to play the course. They paired me up in a foursome which is awesome because I love golfing with just about anyone. I expected a 4/4 and a half hour round. Every. Single. Shot....was a 5-10 minute wait! There were 4/5 groups of 4 in front of us who were obviously all together. Money was probably on the line, but you would have thought that a PGA Tour card was, judging by the pace of play. Never offered to play through, never talked to a ranger, and finally had to call the front desk to be told "there are a lot of foursomes" that day. Really? I kinda figured. But it does NOT take 20 minutes per hole, every hole! Finally walked off after 4 1/4 hours sitting in #12 fairway. When I called again afterwards, the guy said "sorry, it's not usually like that." Cool.....again. 50$ (hotdeal) and 20$ gas....for 11.5 holes in all reality. However, I wanna say that the people out in the cart barn were super nice. The course is also a lot of fun! It's beautiful! But come on peeps, I have a job and a son, I figured taking a day off work would get me back in time to get him from school and afford me a much needed break. I would still probably try again because I love the layout, but only if I knew for certain they had someone watching the pace.
Awesome course for the $$$
Great conditions and course. Challenging and fun. For the money it’s hard to beat in the Detroit metro area
