The 36-hole Boyne Mountain Resort is the most family-friendly of the three Boyne Resorts properties in northern Michigan. The Avalanche Bay waterpark and beach at Deer Lake are perfect for children and families. There's also an events lawn with a putting course, tennis courts, villas and tiki bar adjacent to the beach. Mountain Cabins, Mountain Villas, Villas at Disciples Ridge and Boynehof. There are more than a dozen dining options spread throughout the resort and its ski village. Disc golf, hiking, biking and fishing are some of the many local activities away from the course. The Alpine and Monument courses are classic wooded layouts that host the Boyne Tournament of Champions every summer.

A Fun Value for Boyne

Nice layout with some good scoring holes. Greens are a bit difficult to figure out. Conditions were excellent. Staff is very helpful. Good variety of holes which will keep you interested.

Boyne has some excellent courses. This one is a good warm up round for groups or scrambles.

Very good value. Only complaint is quality of bunkers.

Play it Again

The Alpine is quite simply a fun golf course that has always been in wonderful condition each time I've played it. The rates are good and it is challenging enough to keep your interest without causing serious frustration, or a trip to the pro shop after the turn to buy more balls. The views of Deer Lake make a great setting and the staff couldn't have been nicer.

Great End to A Great Trip

The Alpine was a great way to cap off a wonderful buddies weekend. It was a such a fun course, i could see our group playing there and never get bored, bringing back plenty of stories (both true and well, false ha!) The views overlooking Deer Lake are as stunning as the condition of the course, definitely a worthy spot for the Michigan Tournament of Champions. We didn't get the chance to go, but Avalanche Bay Water Park looked like a fun spot to hang out! Seriously, if you are planning a buddies trip, make this your last stop, it guarantees you have a really fun, memorable finish to your trip!

Such a fun golf course. Some amazing views of the hills of northern Michigan and Deer Lake. Really well kept, too. Perfect course for family golf, especially with the Avalanche Bay Water Park onsite!

The Alpine at Boyne Mountain

One of those courses you could play everyday and never get bored. Really fun golf that is family-friend. Loved the views of Deer Lake. This course is now on my northern Michigan must play list.
