Course is in terrific shape, always enjoy playing here
Superb greens!
This is one the best golf courses in Kent County!🤗
Overall nice course
Good course, the pace of play was slow, other than that it was a good time.
Great Condition.
The course is a challenging layout and was in top condition. Greens were in absolutely beautiful condition, running smooth and in speeds rivaling some private courses. Everything thing was manicured as if a tour was coming out to play. If the greens remained in the condition they were on 7/18, I would not hate it. 😁
Candlestone Golf Course
The course was in fantastic shape and conditions. The stuck on approach and the the greens were fast and true. This is a hidden gem that everyone should check out.
Keep returning
Good food, great beer prices, course was extremely well kept and challenging!
Excellent course
HD a great time. Pace of plays great and staff was efficient and professional
nice day
We had a good time. Play was slower than normal, well over 4 hours that day.
Lots of leaves blowing around. Greens had been punched and dressed. Putting was affected.
Enjoyed
Hadn’t played course for several years. Enjoyed the layout. Greens aerated so that was a negative.
Tough Tract with Punched Greens
The course is demanding. There are some very long par 4s. I am 220 to 235 off the tee and some were tough to reach. The greens had been aerated with 1980s style 1/2 punches. The sand was missing from 30% of the punched holes and others were not filled fully. 6 footers were a complete guessing game. Good putts were bad and bad putts were good. Overall it was not completely enjoyable due to the greens.
The restaurant next door was very good with nice service.
The course is middle to bottom half of my list for going back. Might be better in summer. Not off the list.
The Greens
The greens were punched and half filled with sand making putting impossible. Fill them up! I understand this needs to be done but did you run out of sand? The bunkers were avoid of sand to. Hard pack made bunker shots impossible. The employees were not friendly. Other then that the rest of the course was in good shape.
