Such a great course for those wanting a great round followed by some good food. If you want a fun and relaxing round with some great bbq this is your place!
I took advantage of the Hot Deal and paid ahead for two players. Unfortunately, my partner had to back out at the last minute. I think that the no refund policy. should be reviewed. The rules said that they could pair me up with other golfers at their will but the volume of players did not warrant doing that this time and I played alone. In cases like this it would be fair if they could refund some of the cost..I was willing to golf with someone else but no one was there to do it. Also the gift card(s) I tried to use the system could not identify which negated their value.
Nice course
I would rate this a very nice course that is long.
Course in very good shape but need some rain to soften the firm greens
Nice Course
Beautiful course. Only con was a two hour delay due to frost which effected the pace of play. However, I still enjoyed myself.
1st round @ Candlestone GC
The course was decent condition, and the greens were nice. Play was extremely slow. First time to play the course, I was a solo. Ok, they just finished an outing, so the tee times were stacked up. Sadly, no ranger reminding golfers,,,,ready golf! Highlight of the day, a 3 some allowed me to play along on hole #3; which made the day a lot more tolerable. I would play if again to give it another chance on pace of play.
Well maintained
2nd time playing the course. They were busy due to an outing, but pace of play was still good. Course was in excellent shape. Will be returning again.
Long and Open
Fairways are pretty open, the trees are not overbearing. Water and sand traps are not obnoxious. There were some uprooted trees but not in they way. Course seemed to be in good shape. There is a couple vending machines after the ninth hole but you need to make sure you have one dollar bills. Nice course!!! Will go back!!!
Great Course
Played here for the first time and I was impressed with the layout and the condition of the course. Scenic holes through the forested areas and just enough water to make it interesting. Greens were near perfect and the fairways and roughs very good. It seems as though not many replace or fill their divots which is a shame.
Mostly a good experience.
Course was in great shape. I do not agree with the fact that they had rakes in the traps during COVID-19 - I have not been to another course that does right now. There was also a cigarette butt in the cart, which tells me the level of cleaning the carts receive is not up to snuff. Worst thing was the marshall that kept showing up to talk to us - especially when he pulled up and slammed on his brakes during a swing...with no apology, but a snarky comment on the bad shot resulted. With these comments I do need to reinforce that the course was in excellent shape and we really enjoyed our round. Too bad about all of the peripheral bad things...
