Gull Lake View Golf Resort

I snuck out there on a Wed afternoon and even as a single moved around in 3 hours playing through a group and being behind a few others. Course was in very nice shape. The back 9 has a fantastic layout and the par 3's are very challenging from the back tees. I would play this course a lot more if it wasn't out in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for a good day Bedford!

Bedford Valley is a former site of the Michigan Open. As you will see the first time you play the course, the difficulty is set at the tee box. There are multiple length tee boxes for both men and ladies that can add as much as 30-50 yard per hole. The bunkers are very large and strategically placed both next to the greens and in the fairways. The water hazards are not extremely difficult if you play smart shots rather than superman shots. Overall Bedford Valley is a very challenging yet enjoyable course to play that will have you coming back to better your score.

There wasa group of 5 ahead of us that wouldn"t let us play through and the 2 some ahead of them ,one was rideing on the back with his clubs on his back.They need someone watching the course.My first bad experience there!

This course is a fantastic value for the money!
The fairways and greens were exceptional. Wife and I had a very enjoyable round. Players of all ages and skill will enjoy playing this course. The fairways are wide, bunkers are few, and water hazards are non existent! Shot placement is important, especially on your approach shot into the greens.

There are a lot of trees on the course, but maintained so that you can hit out from under them.

If I lived in the area, I would put this one on "My must play monthly" list.

Short but beautiful with many doglegs, lots of elevation change and blind shots. Greens very difficult to read. Slow pace on front nine, but rangers are attentive and pace picked up on back.

Great course and the staff was wonderful. Not many golfers when we teed off and the weather was amazing. The course was in perfect condition and the greens read true.

GLV East is a gorgeous course with beautiful views, plush fairways, perfect greens and playable for all skill levels. It is our favorite of the Scott Courses. The staff is wonderful, the food is more than exceptional. Great stay and play packages too, with rooms on the 18th fairway and green. Incredible value. The 5 Scott courses we play are always in "PGA Shape" and are in a small group of the finest Golf Courses anywhere.

Beautiful course. Not too many golfers on the course so pace of play was good. Fair course if you stay out of trees. Greens were fast and true. Would play it again.

I was so impressed by the condition of the entire course. This is truly a gem. Fantastic course.

This is the 2nd course I've played that is owned by the Scott family, and it's beautiful. Wonderful place to play!

I drove fifty miles to play this course and would do it again. Great classic style golf course, reminded me of played in northern Michigan. Great shape very large bunkers and sloping greens would like to play it when it is firm and fast. Well worth the time and money.

We will be back for the excellent golf and hospitality. .........

For it being pretty early in the season, the course was in surprising shape! The fairways and roughs are great..the greens were still coming along, still pretty slow. I didn't know what to expect with this course because I've played the Stonehedge's and Bedford Valley which are owned by the same family but the West course seems to be just as nice and thought out as the other "bigger" courses.
There is so much undulation on this golf course. Definitely an old-school design with the green complexes. Combination of tough driving holes tough approach shots on several holes. The course seems longer than it is on paper. There are a few long par 3's to keep you focused.
I would definitely recommend Gull Lake View West.

Always enjoy playing the East course. This time was particularly good due to the great GolfNow value; believe it was ~ $22. Course condition was better than that of my golf game, but still had a great time w/some friends. Beautiful course & facility. Enjoyed it!

The people working here were very nice. The course was in great shape, and the pace of play was fast.

We use Golfnow alot and we are finding many courses treat you differently because they aren't making any money off your group.

Played with 3 others on Sunday 4/12/15 at 10:30. Being they only opened a couple weeks prior the course was in good condition and the staff there is second to none. Always friendly. One reason we play multiple times at the Gull Lake courses (Gull Lake View East and West as well as Stonhedge North and South)
