Gull Lake View Golf Resort
About Gull Lake View Golf Resort
Since the 1960s, the Scott family has transformed 2,000 acres in southwest Michigan into one of America's largest golf resort communities. Situated in the appropriately named Augusta, Michigan, near Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, Gull Lake View Golf Resort has become synonymous with affordable packages where golfers stay in comfortable villas to enjoy six different courses, all from different eras. The East and West courses were built in the mid-1960s and mid-1970s, with the two Stonehedge courses added later in 1989 and 1994. The family bought the Bedford Valley, a classic course known for hosting tournaments, in 1988 and then put the feather in the cap, debuting the linksy Stoatin Brae by Renaissance Golf Design in 2017. Those who fall in love with the experience can buy real estate in one of several neighborhoods.Facts

love this course
one of my favorite courses at Gull Lake View. Weather was perfect, course was in great shape. Pace of play was great considering the weather was fantastic.
Beautiful course
Very beautiful course. Green is very smooth. A little bit challenging.
Nice day for golf
I was very happy with the golf course. The front nine is open and the back is wooded. Fair holes but not easy.
Amazing day at Stoatin Brae
Great links golf course with plenty of elevation change. Very friendly staff and a halfway house called “the Bunker” that you pass 3 times was a treat! The vistas were breathtaking. Definitely going to play it again.
Course was in good shape. Slow pace of play
Used Golf now, and they raised the price by the time I got to the course. They told me the $15 fee paid online would be refunded, which did not happen. Not a good experience, but had fun anyway.
Lots of potential
Played with a buddy on a weekend trip. We had one of the later tee times and due to the openness we we able to finish in three and a half hours. Wten we arrived it seemed like staff was less then pleased for us to be there. We were reluctantly given directions to the first tee. My friend called ahead and asked how long people would be allowed on the course and he was told 9pm. We were on the 17th hole at 8:15 when the same guy who checked in came and told us we had to chose one of the last two holes to play. He again reluctantly allowed us to continue on. The course itself is very fun and has a great layout. One thing we noticed on every green was the number of divots left by fellow golfers. That’s not even on the staff, that is on us. Overall I would come back and play Bedford Valley
Not Impressed
Carts not updated
Grass too long in fairways and especially the greens.
Overall course impression does not deserve a Top 100 ranking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Leaves the impression you the owners are barely getting by financially!!!!
Solid Links-Style Course
I've played here about a dozen times, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I played with my dad, brother and friend this time. The pace of play was slow (4.5 hour round) but not too slow considering it was a Sunday afternoon in July. If I could suggest one thing, they need a beverage cart running. You would not only make a ton of money, but you would make the round more enjoyable for a lot of people. I had a blast as always, will definitely be back again.
