Course is site of Kitchen aid Senior PGA tourney every other year so is highly rated by senior pros. Well deserving as it is an excellent course to play, probably too difficult for average golfer over 10 handicap. Regular greens fees too pricey for local, daily golfers but ok for vacation golfers or special treat rounds for out-of-towners.b

Pace of Play: If you play this course in the summer months, you should have no problem finishing 18 holes if you start by 5:00 PM. Monday-Thursday you can expect to play the course in about 4 hours. However, on the weekends pace can be a little slower as it is a popular Chicago weekend destination. With that being said, each hole presents a different view of the Michigan landscape which makes waiting for your next shot a little more bearable.

Course Condition: The tee boxes are always in great shape, the course does a great job moving each set of tees to ensure fresh grass in the teeing ground daily. Fairways are always pure and roll generously. A few holes have a lot of divot marks in the collection areas, but I have never found it to affect play. The greens are rock solid and roll true. Each green presents a challenge as most are multi-tiered and much larger than most courses. A high trajectory approach shot or a high spin shot is necessary to hold the greens. However, most holes give golfers an opportunity to run a low shot up to the green. All greens are mowed directly into the fairways.

Overall, I would highly recommend playing this course for the right price.

A tough but great course, I have played now 3 times. Fairways are a pleasure to play from, greens are fast and undulating, bunkers are deep and challenging (especially when not completely dry). Service is exemplary. Spectacular views are a bonus!

If you are ever in the St.joseph area of Michigan put this course on your must do list. Top shelf from the time you arrive till you drive away.Interesting that mid may fairways still had aeration holes that really never caused an issue since they were starting to heal.Greens rolled fast and true.Dont think there is a flat green on this course..so try and note that on the warm up putting green.Beautul course..nice manicured bunkers made for an enjoyable 4 hours for me and my wife.If you can get on for under 80.00 here..do it..you will not regret it.This is a well thought out design that is a pleasure to play.First time playing but hope to make another 3 hour drive sooner than later.This to test my skills now that I have some familiarity with a few holes that sight lines were a little unclear.

Course is still recovering from fall Aerating especially the fairways. The greens were rolling well and tee boxes were in good shape, love the sand at harbor shores. It is very consistent and almost easy to play from.

Staff is super friendly and what one expects at a high end venue.

They used to offer community days to local residents but those days are long gone.

Of you get a chance to play here it’s a great value with a hot deal offer from golf now.

The course was great shape and green are fast, a lot twist and turns the greens very adulating. I hope you ready green. A must play again for me.
