Reviews
Will be back
I made a good choice with this course. I loved the layout and the elevation changes. Beautiful course. Can't think of a negative so good in my books. It was a very cool with some rain at the end of the round but had the course to myself pretty much. It was a cold Tuesday midday tee time and I got there early and they let me go off alone.
Your feedback is important to us, Tsizzle. Thank you for sharing your 5-star experience. We look forward to seeing you again at the course soon! Thanks for choosing Hawk's Eye Golf Resort.
Gem in the Woods
This is a beautiful championship style course located just outside of Shanty Creek resort. If you visit the area, you won’t find a better course for the money. The course is challenging without being unfair. Along with many of the other courses in the area, the scenery alone is worth the price of the round. You won’t be disappointed with your day here.

pretty simple course to work on your game
not a course you would go to play if you are looking for 4 star.
It is good for working on your game.. they are very friendly here
Greens were crazy slow but it had rained the night before so that may have contributed to it.

Hawk's Eye
Always a pleasure to play. Great design, conditions and pace of play. No issues at all. Just wish the pro shop had better deals and a little more selection. No deals even on hats. Good advertising if customers buy something. A missed opportunity here!!
Thank you for your review, VikingPro. We will pass along your positive experience to our team at Hawk's Eye Golf Resort. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Wonderful Course
Course was in terrific shape. Starter was really friendly and helpful. I thought the price to play was a little out of line for a Thursday mid morning. The club house food offerings were disappointing but maybe that was due to the Covid. Overall, I look forward to returning and playing here again.

Great course, pace of play too slow
First time playing the course, it was in great condition, fair fairways and greens. My only complaint was the pace of play. I can’t stand 5 hour rounds of golf but that seems to be the norm in Northern Michigan. I would definitely play here again though.
