Beautiful course
This is one of three beautiful golf courses in the area,
The course layout is challenging for all skill sets,
The club house is nice and the staff is very friendly.
Will definitely play here again.
All carts have gps on board.
Northern Michigan Best
A little pricey for seniors who play a lot… But a real treat to play…Always enjoyed the course!!
Green Fees:
Yes, the course is beautiful and the layout is nice. I’ve been coming up to Leland/GlenLake area since I was a child, I am now 70years young. As a child I remember when SugarLoaf mountain was built as a down hill ski resort. So playing the course is pretty cool seeing the old ski lifts coming thru over grown forest. My only complaint is that I feel a round of golf whether it be Manitou or any other golf course. one should see a reduction in green fees surely after Labor Day. I religiously come back up to Leland area every Labor Day week. I was shocked to see week day rates as high as they were. I live in southwest suburbs of Chicago, and we have high rated courses around here also. The green fees are quite reasonable in the spring and the fall. Something to think about moving forward. I love golf, but rates pointing towards $100 don’t quite cut it with me. I understand during prime summer months, the area being a sought out destination to visit for many may merit the higher green fees. Again it would like to see a reduction in the fall. I saw you also did away with the Labor Day special. $50 was a real pleasure!
Like I said the course is very nice and well taken care of. Think about a reduction in the fall.
Thanks for opportunity to comment.

Great Northern Michigan bargain.
Excellent layout, accommodating staff. A great Northern Michigan bargain.
Course is carved out of some beautiful wooded, hilly terrain.
Course is tucked into some beautiful wooded hilly terrain. Most holes play fairly with not much blind trouble.
You need to try this course out when up North MI
I had been hearing about this course for a while and assumed it was too high end for my $$$ until I started to see it on GolfNow. I played it 3 times this week and each time got a better and it is a fun course. The people are great, carts are nice, course is in fine shape, challenging but not killer and much better than other courses that are listed for the same price. Weekends and holidays will be more but, a weekday hotdeal is well worth it!
Great day for golf
.Beautiful day. Friendly check in at the car. And inside. Not too crowded. Nice pace. Three t boxes were being redone. Course absolutely beautiful. Clubhouse a.and amenities are very nice. Thanks
Manitou Passage
Overall course was in great shape. Wait staff in restaurant was slow and unattentive.
Nice course to play if you're traveling up north!
I got the suggestion to play here from a friend whose family has a home up in the area. I'm glad I came out here! It's a beautiful course, and the staff is excellent!
My only complaint is that the GPS system was supposed to be accurate to the pin location, but it hadn't been updated that day. It was frustrating when I'd see in the GPS that the pin is in the back, so I play my shot to the back of the green only to find out that it's actually in the middle or front.
I would definitely play here again, but I would be more mindful of what the GPS says.
Thank you!
